The Amazing Automatic Bookmark

I've been using the Automatic Bookmark for years. I love it. I recommend it to all my friends who read. I give some away, and I tend to lose one every now and then, so everytime I see one at a bookstore I grab a couple. I've had trouble finding any lately, so when I saw them on Amazon, I immediately ordered a bunch. The Bookmark stays on the book, holds your place, and doesn't fall out. What more can you ask for? It does the job.

This little gismo is a nuisance and a good old-fashioned bookmark is all you will ever need. Save your money on this one.

If you don't know what it is -- it's a bookmark that you clip to the bottom of the back cover of a book. Every time you turn a page, it automatically marks it, so you never have to worry about messing with a bookmark to save your page. You can close your book at any time and open it at the page, hassle free and all.The metal is substantial enough that it won't break on you, although the wire part might be easily bent out of shape if you aren't careful when it's not on a book. It's been working great for me for months now.[UPDATE] I've actually stopped using these and moved on to something similar called Albatros Bookmarks. The reason being that these PageKeeper bookmarks have started leaving indentations and black markings on my books. I suggest checking out Albatros, their mechanism works a bit better and leaves no traces.

I've been getting these bookmarks for years, ever since I found in one of my local bookstores. They're the best bookmarks I've ever had. Just clip them to the back cover of the book and they keep your place as you turn the pages, moving each page from under the spring that marks your place in the book. I usually stick one of the thinner screwdrivers into the clip itself and compress it down so that the clip is tighter than before. It helps as I'm usually reading Paperbacks.

I have used this bookmark for years. Won't use any other kind. I am a avid reader and would be lost without my PageKeepers. I have given them as gifts to several people who are also avid readers. The product is well contructed and last for a long time, although I hasve several in use at any one time with several more tucked away in my nightstand. They work well even when changing from a book with many pages to one of normal or short length. Highly recommend this product.

The Pagekeepers are great. Used a version of this model years ago before a company made Pagekeepers. But in the blog for the Pagekeepers, 3 packages are displayed leaving the shopper to assume that that is the number one is purchasing.. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package and found only one. I know. Read the blurb. But doesn't it stand to reason that when 3 packs of Pagekeepers are displayed, that's what you're getting? I'm surprised at you, Amazon. And disappointed. And the shipping is a killer!! I ended up paying $12.00 for the thing!!

The material its made of wouldn't last long for how its meant to to be used.

I really like this clip, but it leaves black marks in the pages of my books.
