Do you sell the screens only?

I searched all over just to find this style -1471W dryer vent and the screen isn’t sold separately. But the hood and screen are pretty inexpensive. The tabs on my original hood finally disintegrated so it might be worth keeping it as a spare if you only use the screen.

Is it made in white? (i suspect not.) q2 would be why not? q3 can it be painted?

No the description says brown. I don't see why you can't spray paint it but use krylon for plastic spray paint.

how do you hook the dryer hose to this from the inside?

You will need a piece of duct that will go through the exterior wall to meet your dryer duct. Length of this is dependent on your installation. I only needed a 4" piece, but look up LAMBRO INDUSTRIES 229 4x2' Aluminum Duct Pipe to give you an idea of what is needed. There is another brand that comes with a short piece of duct already attached. The plastic on this vent hood is very soft and flexible. I didn't care for it and returned it.
