Love it, love it, love it!
Hikari is an excellent brand, and I'm not the only one that loves the stuff. My Goldies love it too! I feed this to my Red Cap Oranda, who has a Panda Moor as a tank mate, and they both eat it up like they haven't eaten in years. My Oranda is still rather small, but I have seen significant head growth on him, after having fed him Hikari Oranda for a few weeks. It never clouds the water, nor does it make the water smell. However, these are the floating pellets, and Goldfish can develop swim bladder problems fairly easily, especially when gulping air from the surface in a mad rush to gobble up the food, so, I always soak these in some tank water, and squish them between my fingers some so that they sink to the bottom. All in all, I love this stuff. My Goldies are bright and healthy, and the food does enhance headgrowth, as promised. Very pleased!

Quality Food
If you want high quality fish food, you are looking at the right product! Be mindful that they are floating pellets though as goldfish with swim bladder issues should not be taking in the extra air from "gulping" at the surface for food. This can be remedied by soaking the pellets in tank water for ~30 minutes. These are probably best for fish at least four inches long. My two smaller babies have a hard time eating the pellets because they are decently sized so I have to break them in halves with my thumb nail to keep them from being stuck in their mouth. My only dislike is that these things smell. Whenever the package is open, you will be totally aware. If you drop them in your carpet, you better get the vacuum out as soon as possible.

Fish are enjoying Hikari
Most of my goldies are enjoying this food. It smells fresher than the other stuff I had for them. My goldies just look better.

great brand
Hikari is just a great brand of high quality fish food. Never had any problems with their products, I would definitely recommend them to any goldfish owner. These pellets are a good size, they just need to be pre-soaked for smaller goldies.

Floats even when presoaking.
I ordered this for my oranda and ranchu goldfish. They are floating pellets which isn't advised for these type of goldfish, so I soaked them in little tank water and garlic guard. They still floated and seemed to cause some buoyancy problems for 2 of my fish. Now I have a bag of fish food I won't be using. If you have small fish these pellets get pretty big once soaked, so I would avoid it for the smaller fish. Although I was really hoping to make this food work with soaking, seems it still floated. I would stick to sinking/wet foods.

Go-To Fish Food for Orandas
I have fed this food to my two big fat orandas for years. They gobble it down. FYI, I also feed them petite peas and brine shrimp...

Goldfish health improves
My goldfish fish love them, they are easy to feed, the fishes color & health seem to improve after making this their main diet. My cats love it too, so I have to pour the contents into a solid container with a secure lid (like a used flake food container). Not going back to my old food - sticking with Hikari.

good product but too $$$$ Good for very small pond w/ few fish
I have rain catchment ponds with various fish. Koi, Fantails, Comets, guppies and swordtials to eat any mosquitos. This is a great product if you have a very small pond with few fish. The fish like it, but I need a lower cost food. So I'm trying the TetraPond Koi Vibrance which costs far less. My only reason for not giving it 5-Stars is due to price.
