After reading the reviews online I was hesitate to buy the Bates 4in paint rollers. After deciding to try them out, boy was i glad i did buy them. Some reviews say that the rollers leave lint behind but i always wrap my rollers with painters tape. Then i take the tape off and the painters tape will take the lose lint off. I actually do this with all my rollers no matter how expensive a roller is. All rollers will shed off some lint. So if your wondering if you should by these rollers, I suggest you should.

These have a ton of fuzz on them and when you roll out the paint it comes off on your surface. Pretty much had to stop and clean the surface through the entire paint job. Took the rest of them and washed them and dried them in the dryer with some cloths. have not tried them after this, but should not have to do this for the product to work.

You will not find a better value. The 1/2" Knapp was suggested to me by a professional painter and I couldn't believe how well these worked for me. I painted my entire exterior of my house. On the old asbestos shingles siding and the rollers got in every nook and cranny. Also painted my plastic shutters, started with a brush cutting in and quickly realized the rollers could do the whole job without the brush. Have and will continue to recommend to other people. Nice product.
