Nice to use , very smooth .
Changed most of my Reels for Penn Fathom's lever wind for my boat fishing , very nice to use and very smooth under pressure , easy to clean and keeps the braid nice and tidy . 5* Reel .

Solid Reel with smooth drag
I use this reel on my downrigger. I love the performance on the Optimum downrigger paired with a Shiman Technium Casting Rod. Just performs well with all the auto cycle modes and bottom tracking. Feels solid and high quality. My Okuma Goldwater low profile reels are more comfortable because of the low profile design but I still prefer my Penn Fathom Line counter on my downrigger. I will use the Low Profile Coldwater’s as backups or guest reels.
