which is good for practicing dry fire
It fed flawlessly through my Compact Commander. I'm holding back on giving it five stars until I can test them out on a full-size 1911. It appears these snap caps are well milled with tight tolerances. They mimic the weight of real ammo, which is good for practicing dry fire. I'm hoping the silicon "primer" holds up to repeated dry firing.

Good idea, bad execution
As was remarked upon in a different review, the bullet is too long and is the wrong shape. Seem to load ok but won't eject without jamming. Unless you're planning on re-machining the nose as was also remarked on, don't buy.

Putting "tactical" in the name of the product does not make them better
The pictures in the ad depict the "silicone primer" as a bright red. Those I received are closer to yellow (aged?), and took a few looks to make sure I would not confuse them with live ammo. I also used a sharpie to mark them up a bit.I have 3 different 45's, and ran all 6 through each, one time. I had 1 failure to feed in my higher end 1911 (pictured). The metal they are made from is too soft. All of them are now marred, and have burrs on the ends after each round was cycled a total of 3 times. By the time I was loading them the 3rd time, the burrs caught the skin on my thumb. Not enough to cut, but could easily see these becoming more uncomfortable to load after they have been around for a while. I went for budget making this purchase, and got what I paid for.I understand why the comments have been turned off on their website.
