DW-16 Rechargeable Remote 2 Dog Training Shock and Vibration Collar

These collars have changed both my life and my pup's life for the better. I was very hesitant to purchase a product like this (because I feared the training process, or the inevitable electric shock I would have to give my dog). My dog is a three year old, female Boxer, who I'd been trying to train off leash with no luck. She is a bit stubborn and I could not get her to come when she didn't want. Long story short, I read the directions, and trained my dog on leash for a bit and then introduced this collar. She immediately responded to just the vibration setting. The vibration setting is awesome and is all I needed to correct her behavior for weeks. Then, one day a car pulled into our driveway and she would not stop jumping up on the vehicle and would not respond to my calls for her to come. I reluctantly used the lesser shock, and she came flying to me. Since then, I've never had to use the shock setting again and rarely, if ever have to use the vibration option. I was so shocked that she learned with one correction! This product is fantastic, it is durable, reliant, and even comes with two collars. It's the best and most rewarding money I've ever spent on my pup. Her life is so enhanced by the freer roam these collars have given her. The only minor caveat to this praise is that I had an extremely difficult time trying to get the back off of the remote control when it was first opened to install batteries. But that's my only complaint and the benefit of these collars far outweigh the bad. Buy it, it will enhance your realationship with your dog and thank you much to whomeever made this product.

Thank you for these collars. I have 2 young dogs that didn't want to listen. I first practiced teaching them on a leash to turn towards me with verbal commands then I used the vibration mode off leash if they didn't listen. It works beautifully.I had to use the low shock once on one of the dogs to stop her from jumping on people coming into the house. He didn't respond to verbal or vibration. He doesn't jump up at all now. He yelped when he was shocked and I felt awful, but it was an instant lesson learned for him.Today i practiced with them outside and allowed them to run free. I had to use the vibration a few times, before they both responded to verbal commands. Within minutes they both were excellent listeners. Unfortunately on the way into the house the pitbull decided to run back around the house and I had to use the high shock. He ignored the vibrate and verbal "come". After the shock he came right away and looked traumatized. I don't think he'll ignore me again.It's such a powerful tool for training. I wish I didn't have to shock the dog, but that's far better than her running off after cars ( as she's done before ) or into the woods out of site.

I have been using these for a couple of weeks for my 2 mostly well behaved dogs. I just wanted something to use for reminders here and there and this set is working well. I have not used the shock option, the vibration seems to be enough. For the price, these are great! The only thing i would change is that the remote needs a clip or lanyard on it as I don't want to squish it in my pocket and have buttons be pushed by accident. Worked for a little while and then started to malfunction.Shocks the dogs even when you push the vibrate button.

These work as described on dogs who do not need hard correcting. My more stubborn dog does not even show a reaction to me hitting the high button repeatedly. I have a 105 lb pitbull that reacts to just the vibrate feature, no shock even needed. Keep in mind he is easy to work with and does not need much correcting. These work good for what they are, just do not expect major correction availability with stubborn dogs.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. These worked awesome at first - hence my 5 star review. I purchased 4 sets of these. Well, they stopped working shortly after and the company was no help. I was not happy. After giving them $ for 4 sets and writing a 5 star review, you would think they would have had better customer service !!!!

I have small dogs that acts very naughty when they are in the backyard. They like to cause a lot of noise and run up and down the Fenceline causing a ruckus with the dogs next-door . They are off leash when they do this so they do not want to listen . My four dogs are all around 10 pounds . The first time I did the vibrate none of them wanted to listen except for one . The others I had to vibrate and then shock them ONCE! After that night they now associate they vibrate with being short so they stop what they are doing . It was very unpleasant for me to shock them . They screamed and jumped into the air . But this left no damage to them and I only had to do it once because I knew I wanted them to associate the vibrate with the shock. Now I don't have to use the shock it all , only the vibrate . Do not overuse the shock because I would consider that abuse . If you have a dog that is not responding to that , you may need to find a trainer . I personally test the shock collar on my arm before putting it on my pets , these are my babies and I think it is important to know what I am putting on them. It's not pleasant. You do need to make sure that you charge them every night or every other night because they will run out of power . iPhone Lee had one of the caller stopped working , i'm not sure why that one out faster than the others but I just ordered more batteries for it . If you are responsible I do recommend this product . There are two things I do recommend though 1 - do not let your dog know that you are the one giving the punishment . Do you want them to think that their action is causing it . This way they will be good with her you were there or not . 2 - do you vibrate first , if they don't respond to that do the vibrate and shock . Whenever you do give them a shock make sure to vibrate them as well . You want your dog to associate the vibrate with the shock this way you can get their attention with just the vibrate.
