Reusable PetSafe RFA-67 RFA67 Compatible Battery Holder Adapter

This is my second one of these adapters and both have worked perfectly. I have tried to cut out and make one of these from the petsafe battery but can never get them cut open correctly to relatch into the collar....for the money this works great and saves me from buying the super expensive name brand batteries. Now I can buy just the 2032 batteries in bulk from Amazon and install them iny collars.I had a petsafe in ground fence system in my old house and have bow moved and got a new dog. We looked at installing a wood fence but the cost was just to much so I pulled out the invisible fence base station we had and installed a new wire into the ground... Only issue was I lost the collar which had my adapter in it so I purchases a new adapter and worked better then the name brand batteries... Using my own Panasonic batteries allows the collar to last a lot longer, 2 to 1 compared to petsafe ones....The only issues that I have with this adapter is the metal piece that goes on top of the batteries is loose so you just have to hold batteries vertical and bring the collar to the battery. It isn't a big issue and once you do it once or twice its super easy. Wish they would just mold two little slots into battery case to allow the metal piece to key into the plastic and not be free....that would be the only improvement I would have to this adapter....I have recommended it to several people that have dogs at the dog park and they all have had similar results as myself.....

I was using the all in one PetSafe and 3rd party batteries. It was hit or miss on how long they lasted. Sometimes as little as 10 days. Very frustrating and expensive. With this device I can choose the battery manufacturer ensuring fresh high quality batteries. Now I get five to six weeks on a battery replacement at lower cost.You have to fiddle a bit to install the batteries but it is not that difficult. Mine fits fine and no moisture problems. Can't vouch for total water immersion though.

This nifty battery holder will save you money! The best price I could find for the normal RFA-67replacement batteries was around $3.50. You can do the math, but I figured I would break even withthis holder after about 8 replacements of the battery. My dog's collars seem to need a new batteryabout every month or two, so for me that equates to a payback of around a year.This holder uses two common CR2032 coin batteries that can be purchased just about anywhere. Butbeware, they are not all created equal! I would recommend going with a brand name like Panasonic orSony (the seller includes 4 Sony batteries). There are sellers on Amazon and Ebay that offer brand namebatteries in quantity.Don't try and save money by buying the cheapest CR2032 batteries that you can find. I had to learn thehard way that most of them are junk and are either dead when you get them or they only last a fewdays.I also learned that you MUST check your collar occasionally to make sure it's working properly -especially until you can rely on a good brand of batteries. No one wants to lose their pet because of a$0.50 battery.Thank you for offering this cool product. I look forward to saving lots of $$ on batteries!

It seemed to work great, however I can not give much of a long term review as we no longer use the system that takes batteries (we still have it, but we got tired of replacing wire due to the rocky area we live in), our new one is rechargeable. It was no nice with this to be able to pick up regular batteries again (our old collar was designed that way) as the ones this replaces are impossible to find in my area, I was driving the next town over hoping they were in stock since it's not a short drive! These really did make my life easier.

I bought this April 2023. I noticed my dog going farther than normal in the yard in Feb. 2024. I thought maybe the batteries died early, but found that the entire battery was gone and had fallen out. These worked really well for a while, but it seems that it wears out quickly and doesn’t stay on. I went down to the store and bought the brand battery because my pet’s safety is most important to me. I really loved this while it worked.

I have 3 dogs on my PetSafe system and buying the disposable batteries was pretty costly. These reusuable battery holders are fantastic and cost effective! Very simple to assemble. Also, this company's customer service is amazing. I had ordered two holders and only recieved one. I actually had forgotten about it for a couple months but when I contacted them, another holder was in my hands in 2 days. I will be a repeat customer!!!

Works great, no more wasting money on petsafe batteries. I will be ordering another one for my remote collar.

I initially only bought one to see if it would fit in the collars. It fits and works great, I just ordered 2 more for my other 2 collars.
