Bits and Pieces - The Secret Enigma Gift Box - Wooden Brainteaser Puzzle Box

I don't like metric measurements. In Canada we had to learn Both and still use both. But I don't have a good sense of size with metric. The box would have real value if it was 10 inches long and 4 tall and 4 deep. As it is, its the size that makes everything you want to put in it, Too big. But small items will fit. Thick quality hard wood is used with heavy brass. Fittings are not always perfect. Gorgeous even collectable. In different sizes.

Cute little box. The lid is held firmly closed, which is nice. I have to use some effort to open it. I think that's much better than a floppy lid.The drawer was reluctant to open the first time, and by that I mean I had to upend the box so that gravity helped it out. In other words, it wasn't difficult. I just had to fiddle with it a bit. I was very pleasantly surprised at how deep the drawer is.The craftsmanship is fine. All the joints and joinings are very smooth , everything lines up honky dory. For the record, I don't give a fig about the puzzle aspect of this box. I just wanted the box.For twenty bucks, the price I paid for it, I think this box is a great deal.

The product is beautifully finished and sturdy, but the "secret" of opening the secret compartment is an insult even to a child. I would not have purchased this had I known. Buyer beware.

I got this as a gift for my significant other and he loved it. Very cool trick and a neat box to keep your stuff in. Awesome!

I really liked the workmanship that went into this little box. Granted, it's pretty simple (not much of a challenge, really), but it's a really nice box to give as a gift, especially if you want to "hide" a little money in the secret compartment, too! The fit & finish were very good for such an inexpensive box, I thought. I actually bought 2 of these (1 for a gift & 1 for me, as well).
