Badly edited and all measurements in american cups!
Whilst the recipes seem ok, this book is poorly written and edited and seems to leave out quite a lot of important information. The measurements used are all in American cup sizes so not great for a uk audience as you constantly have to convert. As a complete beginner I found it not particually helpful.

Not value for money
I was expecting some pictures and examples of how to make soap. The book is very thin and the type is in double line spacing to make it look more substantial. Not easy to follow if you are a beginner.

Tried and tested
No illustrations but still the recipes are good

Questionable
Extra large print. Didnt really go into the safety of different products like colorant, but did discuss lye and fragrances. So many spelling errors or omitted words on each page, kind of made me question the reliability of the book.If what I read was true, it's a good little intro but likely overpriced.

DO NOT BUY if you're looking into the hot process method.
This book says NOTHING about the hot process method, even though it says it on the book. Was really unhappy with this purchase. It was a flat out lie.
