It is an easy replacement for the damaged car Key. Take note of the following before purchasing this product :1. Your key blade should be working. You will need to transfer the working key blade from your old key to this case.2. Your old key case can no longer be used once you remove the key blade from it.3. Transfer the electronic key buttons to this new case.4. Never forget to gently remove the transponder chip from the old key case and transfer it to this new one. If not, you won't be able to start the car.

I bougth this for a 2014 Montero. Transferring the electronics to the new key was very easy. As seen in the pictures, the base of the blade was a different shape but thankfully the blade was right-sided like the original so I just cut the new one instead of trimming the metal on the old. This would have cost a small fortune at my dealer so I am very satisfied for less than $9 overall (including the price to cut the key).

Diferentes modelos de Mitsubishi usan llaves con estria derecha o izquierda. Debe verificarse la condición de la llave original antes de comprar un duplicado. Esta llave no funciona en Mitsubishi Lancer.

The item did not work for my Mitsubishi ASX (Outlander Sport) . the key I received is right sided and my key is left sided. What a waste of money!
