I love the colors on these pencils, their casing is amazing and very eye catching so its hard to lose them since they stand out a lot better than the other clear case pencils. There is NO COLORED LEAD in them its just your standard mechanical pencil with 0.7 lead. Which I didn't buy them looking for colored lead I bought them because they were beautiful colors and I needed some new pencils. The lead does write smooth but for me breaks about the same amount of times as the clear ones do but I'm bad for putting a lot of pressure down as I write so the lead breaking would depend on the person using them.

I use these to make lines using my paper trimmer. The pencil fits the grove in my trimmer, so I can make perfect lines to matting.
