Favourite for toddlers!
My has had this for a year and still loves it. At first it was just to put the blocks in the containers but now he loves stacking and counting them. He can also play the tunes himself and loves doing a little jig to the counting song. A good toy for babies right through to children of pre-school age.

A bit more interesting than a standard shape sorter
I’m fairly sure I won’t be alone when I say my seven month old requires my constant presence and entertainment. When I first switched on this toy I found the sounds irritating and quite falsely enthusiastic. However, I must say, when I’ve sung every nursery rhyme I know twice, been for a walk, read all of the books, danced around to the radio for a bit and sung all of the nursery rhymes again, I am SO grateful that I can just sit in the presence of my baby and the snail and let the snail do the entertaining for fifteen minutes. She really loves it. She looks so disappointed when it isn’t singing and her little face lights up when I switch it on.The toy feels quite sturdy, she’s certainly knocked it over a few times and had a good tug on the lid and it’s still in one piece. We obviously haven’t really started sorting shapes yet, but she’s interested in the blocks and spends a long time inspecting them and moving them around on the floor. She’s also getting good at reaching for them, which is improving her balance. It’s a bit more interesting than a standard shape sorter for a small baby. You need a screwdriver to get into the battery compartment, which is nice and safe.
