Christianity plays a fairly significant part in the book. This wasn’t clear in description
Shocked to discover this book has frequent references to Christian beliefs as part of its recommendation. Would never have bought the book had I known. Should be made clear in description

Read the reviews before you buy
I was really excited about this book. I've read my share of witty, in your face, self help books before but this one does it all WRONG. The author's perspective is incredibly privileged and there's a point about mid way through where she says "if you're depressed, just act like someone who isn't depressed". While I do think the idea of manifesting what you want through positive thinking is great, this book isn't the first to suggest it. Overall the author seems out of touch, the books is potentially triggering, and I would not recommend it.

Dissapointing
I have tried to read this book on and off over the past few weeks, however I cannot get into it, despite being on Chapter 7. For me, it just feels like a long list of affirmations, with minimal logic or application. It's not an interesting read and I find it quite a task to even read the book.I bought this book as recommended on a few pinterest boards as 'essential for all 20 somethings to read'... I'm still not clear on why or how it is essential.Maybe I will attempt to read it again in the future, but for now this book is not for me.

Spiritualism and swearing
Just a painful lot of emphasis on spiritualism (just a mix of all sorts). She makes some good point, but you do need to work your way through loads of vague spiritual stuff and unnecessary swearing

Not deep
If you're looking for something thought provoking and based on actual science, skip this book. It's a rah-rah, you can do it, type of book based on some really basic psychology. There's not much new here. It's certainly a positive book but full of bad advice like "use affirmations" (Science says these don't work unless you REALLY believe them) and "bash the heck out of a pillow" if you're angry (Science says this actually makes us angrier) but this is a book that will appeal to the masses. There are better, more researched self-help books than this one.
