Q: What is the difference between the E.BALL 6180 JR and the 6181 JR? Is one more versatile?

Hi there - The 6180 is for PASSIVE guitars and basses. The 6181 is for ACTIVE instruments. The potentiometer's value inside the pedals differs depending on what type of instrument you have. If you are using anything with active electronics (powered by a battery) then you need to use the 6181. If you have a normal guitar with standard magnetic pickups, then you need the 6180. -Andy
