Nice Art Deco design. Heavy metal frame with durable flat black finish. Large hands. No second hand. No light. No alarm. No glow in the dark. No back cover. Purchased August 19, died December 30. Now gives correct time only twice a day. Maybe I can fit a new clock mechanism to it. Meh. Humph.Edit: I hit it with a hammer and it started running again. This clock is at the mercy of a cheaply produced clock mechanism. Old kitchen clocks from the 1950s used to run for years and years. Not so these days with so many plastic wobblies in the innards. I still think this clock looks good, but I would like to encourage the manufacturer to have more robust features that I mentioned in my original review above.

I cannot stand the ticking of regular clocks. I was excited when I read the word "silent" in this product, however it is not completely silent. The sound it makes is kind of like how a constantly rotating second hand would sound, rather than a ticking movement second hand. Although it isn't silent, it is more of a consistent sound so it's less bothersome to me; I'll be keeping it. Things I noted from other reviews that are true: the back is exposed (no cover over battery), there is no glass protecting the hands (adds to the style though). Easy to read and stylish.

The front of this clock is great! However, please note the web page photo that shows the back - that is exactly how it looks! There is no cover over the mechanism or battery! Why they did this, I do not know. This should have been clearly explained with NO COVER ON BACK OF CLOCK.

It's a very nice clock and very well made, very sturdy. My problem with it is at night you cannot see the hands to tell the time. I watch tv in the dark and don't have lights on, waste of electricity.... anyway I have to shine a flashlight on it to see what time it is............... the rose gold just doesn't show up even at dusk very well. I probably would have returned it but I tossed the packaging so will keep it but already looking for something else. If those hands had that illumination stuff painted on them would have given this 5 stars across the board.

It’s a cute desk clock; small enough to sit on my utility cart. The rose gold hands are more on the copper color scheme. It does not have crystal so the hands are exposed; not a problem for me as it gives the clock a more modern feel. I use my utility cart as a night stand and I can’t hear the dial on the clock; a definite win.

I have had the clock for only 5 days, but so far I like it. If something changes my view, I will update the review. The heft is great, the look is great. I am fine with not having a "window" on the front. My use is day time, so for that, it is great. Another version I got and returned was digital and lit, so worked well at night, byt the digits were "washed out" in day time. I am still tweaking it to not gain or lose time.

The clock was a little larger than I expected but it fits my decor very nicely. I don't recommend it for places with small kids because the hands are exposed. There is no cover on the face. It's meant to be placed on a shelf out of the way. It's got good weight for the size. The hands are easy to read in dim light. I highly recommend it.

This clock is cute from across the room, but up close you can tell the rose gold was hand-painted over the black, and not quite neatly. Also, when I'm within 6 ft of it I can hear it running. It's not an annoying ticking like a lot of battery operated clocks, but I can still hear it. Granted ... I have very good hearing, so your mileage may vary.

Just got my clock today. Everything is as shown. I got the black with rose gold for my bathroom. I love the look and will go nicely with my decor. Mine doesn’t tick or make noise at all so I’m not sure what some of the reviews mean by it being a loud clock. I wish it did tick so I knew it was working or had a second hand to show it’s working. I like to have one or both of those in my clocks so when it’s showing the wrong time I can hear or see if it’s the battery that needs changing cuz it’ll stop ticking or the second hand will be stuck in one spot trying to move. And yes the back is open and there’s no cover BUT I’ve never had issues with other clocks like this and it’s not uncommon to not have a backing.Edit - 04/06/21 - the clock is now making a continuous noise. Not sure how much longer this will last before having to replace the clocks mechanism if I can. Never done that before but sure I could figure it out, but I should have to since it’s only been a couple days since I’ve had it. Judging by many other reviews it’s probably best to retire this clock!!

Clock looks nice. Colours are as shown on Amazon. The only issue I have is the clock mechanism is quite loud - you can hear the ticking noise if you are within 8’. So this is good in busier/noisy areas. But not great for your bedside.
