Minoniso New Durable and Rust Resistant Stainless Steel Mesh Tea Balls

I just love this product! It makes loose leaf tea so much easier than the silicone type oneni had been using. It would be a nice addition to add some sort of seal around the lip of the basket.I did not receive any monetary compensation for the review of this product.

Will not seal and tea debris floats to bottom of cup

I was excited to get the chance to try this item out because I just love tea! (Yea I'm not big on coffee).Anyway I love loose leaf teas and this was just what I needed to keep from downing a bug of leaves when I put it in my cup of piping hot water.It was much bigger than I thought it would be. Probably could hold a tablespoon of leaves instead of just a teaspoon.So the tea opened and closed just fine but it did not seem sturdy to me. I tried it out with some loose leaf tea. Not this tea had some big leaves as well as small leaves. Because the sieve had very tiny holes I definitely did not expect any of the leaves to escape. Well I was wrong. After I had poured water over the device, which I had placed in a tea cup, I started seeing some leaves floating around.It wasn't so much so that I couldn't drink the tea but it was enough to notice that maybe this wasn't working the way it was supposed to.Upon further inspection, I noticed that the ball part does not close all the way. There was a sliver of space between the two sieve cups and this is what allowed some of the tea leaves to escape.FYI.. I am a tea drinker, I drinks tea at least twice a day, and as a person drink tea for so long, you can tell exactly the different between high quality tea and tea begs... Most of the time those high quality tea are lose leaves, you need a set of equitment to make yourself a cup of decent tea. For me I am too additicted to drink tea everyday, it's like Without a cup of tea I can't totally wake up during the morning, it always drives me crazy to make a cup of tea in the morning while it's already lake of time to get to work on time, so when I found this tea ball I was so excited and can't wait to get it!! After work with it for more than a week I have to admit, this tea ball is really ROCK!!! It's saves me tongs of time to took out the tea leaves from the tea, and moreover it's dish washable!! That's a really good news for a lazy man like me! Just make a cup of tea and through it to the dish washer and done! That is perfect!!! So I will recommend to you if you ever want to make a cup of tea and you are a little bit lake of time ,it's a very good tool to begin with! A missing star is because it can't completely close, which is a shame....I really wish they can fix it...and I will keep it update if I spot any rust in the future! Though I got the tea ball for promotion, but what I had shared and experienced is totally true. Thanks!
