Perfect for colored pencils and watercolor pencils
This is my go to paper for colored pencils and watercolor pencils. The paper weight and texture are perfect. This size tablet is good for almost all my drawings. Good price. I've purchased several of this product and continue to love it and always go back to this when I need a new pad.

Love this paper!!
Great product!! After trimming the paper to fit my home copier, I make copies of adult coloring book pages onto this Strathmore paper. That way, if I make an uncorrectable mistake, I haven't ruined the original. Also, this paper provides opportunity for a much better, overall result compared to the quality of paper found in the average coloring book. The amount of tooth in this paper allows for multiple layers, so important with color pencil work, with enough tooth left for burnishing or blending with blending pencil. A little pricy, but worth the expenditure if your serious and enthusiastic about color pencil art!

It arrived the next day. It saved me gas money and time for doing a pet portrait. I have used Strathmore for years . Good quality. Thank you❣️

My favorite type of paper!
I love this colored pencil paper! Total game changer for me. It is so soft and the pencil applies and erases easily. My only issues were that the paper sometimes rips when removing from the book and that they don't sell it with the prongs on the top.

Great paper
It's great for colored pencil work but sometimes I find I get better results on Bristol vellum. But for a sketchbook it's wonderful.

... paper surprised me because I thought it was really bad but I ended up liking it a lot
This paper surprised me because I thought it was really bad but I ended up liking it a lot. One important thing to remember is that this paper does not handle solvents. An artist on YouTube made a review about this paper and the artist was very unhappy. The artist tried using solvent to blend colored pencil but the paper ended up warping a lot and the worst part is that the paper did not go back completely flat. So if you would like to use solvent, try Mixed Media (or hot pressed watercolor paper). It’s suitable for colored pencil and solvent. To me, Strathmore Colored Pencil paper is nice. I don’t use solvent which is fine for me. The tooth of the paper is comparable to Canson XL Mix Media (in case if you want a good idea of how the tooth of the paper is like) but in my opinion Strathmore Colored Pencil Paper handles the job a lot better. I can layer so much to get a shade of color or make gradients. To me, Canson XL Mix Media feels like it stops taking in colored pencil. I struggle to fill in the tooth of the paper so I have to press harder just to fill in the tooth of the paper. But I don’t have to press hard on Strathmore Colored Pencil paper. I actually like the look of specs (tooth) on this paper when I color (shade) lightly with my colored pencils. My favorite thing about this paper is that (once you have enough colored pencil on the tooth of the paper) you can burnish to get a smooth blend and it looks really nice. Overall I like it so for layering and blending using colored pencils without the need for solvents. This paper is not for everybody, so I recommend you try a sample from Strathmore or from an arts and crafts store.
