this is nice remote but doesnt operate the tv it says it does right , it will turn on and off , volume up and down , doesn't let you go to roku

Original remote was lost and it was?really difficult to maneuver through the menu without. Was just a spare TV in a spare room but with a family member coming to visit I really wanted them to be able to enjoy the tv if they wanted to watch it.I loved the fact there was no programming needed, just put the batteries in and presto it was on and worked perfectly.

Bought this because it was described as a replacement remote for all Hitachi TVs. Bought it mainly because I needed the numbers on it for quick channel selection. Since the original Hitachi remote is extremely simple & has no numbers on it, just up & down arrows, it’s way too time consuming to go from (for example) channel 255 to 748. Less than 1/2 the buttons on this new remote will work on my Hitachi. Still have to use the original numberless remote. It does what I wanted to with respect to choosing a direct numeric channel, but not totally happy with now having to use 2 remotes for TV operation…hence the lower rating.

I bought this to replace my original Hitachi remote. It will turn on your tv and go to channels (when I tried to change channels, it would open my settings channel in between each channel change). It did turn on Netflix - however you can't hit enter to open Netflix and any button you push will only raise or lower the volume. I bought 4 and tried on 2. Neither on I tried worked correctly. Not impressed. Only gave it a 1 star rating because it wouldn't let me not give a rating.

Layout of the control buttons was not exactly the same but that wasn't a problem. You can't beat original equipment! The price was also very reasonable just slightly more expensive than an aftermarket.

Advertised as working on all hitachi tv's did not work at all,was returned and have been waiting a month for refund

just the on off and volume work huge delay with channel changing

I liked that it works with a 5 year old hitachi. It is a big remote though

Ordered this specific remote to work with my tv. Didn’t connect at all, or even come to life. Came in a plastic bag with no instructions. Returning
