Love the charger. But the battery that came with it will not charge in the charger.

I love the charger. The cord could be a little longer tp put it somewhere other then on top of socket but not a big deal.However from day one the battery charges up normal and i thought it was just going dead fast in my solar spotlight (no camera) but reality was it wasn't even registering to the unit there was a battery in there. I'm running dual batteries so the other is original ring battery. I've only had it about two months now hopefully seller will contact me and offer a good one. I will update review with customer service experience

The charger and battery look nice enough that they could pass as OEM from Ring. I like the digital read out on the top of the charger and I have found the percentage matches what my Ring tells me. I do wish the backlight could be turned on without pulling and re-seating the battery though. Shouldn't be a problem in doing that but it feels like a waste. I think the charger performs well enough. It isn't a fast charge but I feel it charges both the OEM battery and the battery that came with it in a few hours.My largest complaint is the battery life. I have the solar charger set up with my Ring and on the OEM battery sometimes I find myself saying, "Isn't it dead yet?" The is NOT the case with this battery. When left alone using the same settings as my OEM battery, it is easily dead within 5 days. I'm not complaining too much because that is plenty of time to recharge my original one.If this had been $15 I'd probably give it 5 stars based on value... It works $15 dollars worth but as a $35 dollar item it falls a bit short. When the battery gives out, I'll open it up and put nicer batteries in it to see if it is the charger/controller board or if they just skimped on the batteries inside. Until then, I'll use it.

I have had this less than a year and already the battery is charged at 100% but does not work when I put it in the camera

I already had a battery and needed a charging station with one battery I alternate between the one I already have on the one that came with… that is also why I like the digital screen showing me the percentage of the battery that is still charging.. the screen is what sold me

It works well with RING. Long battery life. No installation needed. Very good price.
