Couldn’t have chose a better timer. The Wi-Fi didn’t work on my phone(5G)so I’d save the $5 and get the non Wi-Fi one. It keeps the temperature and humidity perfect for my reptile terrarium. Only room for improvement would be for it to both de-humidify and humidify. I bought two for that exact reason which was still less money than the brands that have been around longer. It has a neat design as well and bright led screen. Go with this one…I’m am not a bot!

This thing is great, heat, cool, humidifier or dehumidifier. Heat is spot on accurate. Humidity is very close. I'm using this for a grow tent and it's doing a great job keeping my plants where they need to be to promote growth. I'm currently running heat and humidity. The directions look confusing at first glance but in truth it's extremely easy to set up. Unit is very close to the high end thermometer and hygrometer that I have in my tent.

Edit: Reduced from 3 stars to 1 star **ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PRODUCT**After writing the below meh review, I ordered another Elitech STC-1000 TH to control a 2nd space. After about a week of use, it started throwing faulty temp/heat timeout conditions, which stops power to the device. Basically every time it triggers a device, the timeout function kicks in and turns it back off, even though the timeout is set to zero in the settings. This is a critical fail of the basic function of this tool and caused some irreparable damage to my plants.I returned it for a new one and it did the exact same thing. This problem affected the whole batch, apparently. Bad firmware maybe? Dunno, don't care. It ain't workin'.I saved 20 bucks on this controller and trashed four nice, mature plants with my "thrift". Spend the extra money on an Inkbird. It will probably work.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -If you want to save the money versus an inkbird or other product, this will save you some money. It may or may not actually control the environment like you want, and it reads about 5 degrees hotter than true, and it may be non-functional right out of the box, but it's definitely cheaper than the alternative products. Give those dice a roll...Don't buy the Wi-Fi enabled version, I couldn't even find the app they were talking about on the Google Play store. Total waste of $$

I haven't found these to be reliable. Had one die within the replacement window and the replacement died within the same timeframe.

It worked no problem for 1 month but then it started to refuse to turn on the outlet when it was supposed to and only way to fix it is by unplugged it and plugged it back in.

I think this unit is good for what it does. Being able to guage/control humidity and temperature at the same time is a major plus. It does what 2 separate devices do all in 1. Allow me to share my thoughts on where this unit can improve...1. Cooling and heating. If you want to keep the temperature steady, and have 2 devices to either cool or heat, the device can't do both at the sametime. In order to cool an area, the device has to be set on " C " for cool. If you want to heat an area, the device has to be set on " H " for heat. While you can run an extension cord to have both the heating and cooling device connected, the unit will only work based on the Cool or Heat option you have selected.2. Humidification and Dehumidification. This section of the unit works the same as the temperature settings. The humidifier and dehumidifier don't work together, they work separately based on whether you choose " H " for humidifier or " D " for dehumidifier.3. The alarm settings. While it's useful to know if your environment falls out of the range you set, it's not exactly convenient to have to use an app or physically press a button on the unit to turn the alarm sound off. If there was an option to turn the alarm sound off, my star rating may be different.All things considered, it's a decent unit for controlling temperature and humidity, just don't expect too much when trying to cool, heat, increase or decrease humidity all at the same time. This would require 4 separate power sockets to achieve this, which this unit does not have.

Full disclosure: I haven't actually plugged it in yet but I will amend my rating if it fails to live up to my expectations which are pretty unreasonable as far as expectations go. First off, the packaging it came in was professional and secure so I give them high marks for that. Upon inspection I was able to confirm that it had an all in one heat/humidity sensor thereby reducing the number of holes needed in your enclosure. In my opinion, the fewer holes in your enclosure, the easier it is to control contamination. It has 2 separate zones which is great because my humidity system is separate from my heat as I would imagine most are. Lastly I looked at the instructions and feel like they're easy enough for me to comprehend even if you want to get into settings that are a bit beyond basic. For your comparison I estimate my intelligence to be maybe slightly above the rank of idiot but that's on my best day. Edit: I was correct in my previous assumptions. This is a great product! You can make all of the adjustments that a novice like myself would want to get involved in lol. Keeps temp and humidity in my greenhouse just within 1°or 2% of set parameters. You can set the variance, for instance you can decide how much you want your temp control to allow your temperature to drop before it kicks on. Very nice! You might want to consider, however, if you really want your thermistor and humistor both in the same place. In some applications for instance, you might want to embed your thermistor in the soil and that would be bad for the humistor.

Powers 2 fans on the rear of my rack. I position the probe near the exhaust a set the fan to kick on at 27c and off at 25c. Works great. Really cuts down on the dust from my previous method of just having the fans on during work hours.

Temperature setting worked but humidity setting could not be done and instruction did not help. Do not buy.
