CODi Sport-Pak Backpack, Black

My prior Codi backpack main zipper failed after 6-7 years so I decided to check this one out on a coworkers recomendation. I travel throughout the year regularly and have to carry laptop and Ipad as well as supporting electronics (batteries, cables, etc) and personal use items. This backpack is made of sturdy material, and has plenty of pockets and compartments to accomodate all my equipment. It also fits well underneath airline seat, wear the Codi was sometimes difficult to fit when full. I like the small hard shell lined compartment at the top for items like glasses that won't get crushed. This backpack also wears more snug and comfortable. Have had it for about 5 months now. No complaints!

I'm a male taveling for business and this backpack has the capacity for several days worth of clothing and toiletries plus my computer and it's accessories. The backpack is very durable with enough pockets for all my stuff. The only downside is the main compartment zipper. Over time this zipper breaks. At first it is "self healing" but eventually it fails. I wish codi would put a better zipper on the main compartment.

This is the best 17.5" laptop backpack that I've ever owned. This backpack easily accepts a 17.5" HP Envy in a separate padded compartment. There are several smaller, and one larger, external zippered compartments for all of your necessities including one at the top for your electronic audio devices. There are two side mesh pockets. One holds sunglasses neatly and one will hold a water bottle for easy access. The audio pouch at the top of the pack has an opening for headphone cord to go through and is large enough to hold a brick. The main compartment is spacious and has a three slot file organizer for files/binders or study books that 8.5" by 11" items slide easily into with lots of room. This file organizer collapses out of the way if not needed. The organizer compartment has all of the zippered and non-zippered pockets that anyone would want, with some almost hidden. A sturdy carry handle is at the top. The padded adjustable shoulder straps have a sternum strap. There is no waist belt. The pack material is thick and durable. My only criticism is of the zippers. Two of the zippers began to separate. Each zipper has two pulls. If I used one of the pulls, the zipper would separate, but the other would close well enough. They still work, but I can only use one of the two pulls.

Spacious, can hold a laptop and a tablet. Many compartments for sunglasses, power cords, keys, files, water bottles, etc.Best value and highest quality at a fraction of Tumi cost.

Large durable backpack with lots of zippered pockets

Very rugged which is needed for my railroader husband, also lots of room for all the gear thats mandatory for him to carry.
