Working well

I like having info telling me of possible issues compared to not having any.

Quality item. Fixed misfire on ignition.

I bought this to replace an older coil ignitor before it failed. The old one still works, and is on the shelf now as a spare.The blocking gasket included with the new ignitor is an added bonus ... my old one was torn and I had wondered about how to replace it.As for function, the new ignitor makes my AFG burner (with Carlin 70200 primary control) ignite INSTANTLY after pre-purge. The burner took 3-4 seconds for ignition before. As result it was a much smoother light-off.Fingers crossed this lasts at least half as long as the old one, which looks like it's been in service for over 30 years.

Easy to swap out and works with my Beckett AFG series oil burner at a cheaper price than Home Depot/Lowes. Please remember to turn off the furnace switch and the furnace breaker before doing the replacement.

I have an old Williamson furnace and it kept tripping/delayed ignition. This thing ignites it IMMEDIATELY. 10/10 saved me and it took 5 minutes to install.
