Short and wide bars
They do make shorter and wider bars than I like but they are soo much better than the wood molds.

Nice mold, easy to use
I made a 2-kilo batch of soap and had about half a pound over pour using 1.25:1 H2O:LYE with a bit of overpour. I'd limit this to 4# dry batches rather than stretch to 5# batch.Pros:Easy to assemble.Easy to unmold. I used parchment on the bottom of the mold but I don't think it was necessary after the sides released so well.Allows for larger batches of soap.Cons:Textured sidesDoes not hold the 5# batch as advertised. I understand water content has part to play in the volume but my batch was relatively dry.

THESE ARE NOT 5# MOLDS
Five pounds of soap, whether CP or M&P will NOT fit into these molds. They're great molds otherwise but I was very disappointed and should have carefully checked the dimensions before ordering. I would have realized they are 3" shorter than the true 5# molds I have ordered from others with the same quality. :-(
