2657! Life Saver for Vertical Blinds
I recently faced an issue with my vertical blinds – the chain mechanism seemed worn out, likely due to kids playing with it. After some research on Amazon, I found this part. The model number 2657 matched exactly with my device. This replacement part proved to be a perfect fix for my blinds. The installation was straightforward, and now my blinds work seamlessly. Thanks to this product, I've become Mr. DIY for blinds repair. Highly recommended for anyone facing similar issues!

Good replacement part
The gears inside my original chain drive had broken and this replacement was great! My valance was so old that I had to take and use my old metal housing and transfer the gear assembly but it fit perfectly!

Fixed my ancient Graber vertical blinds
The gear stripped on our decades-old vertical blinds covering our patio door. I couldn't see a part number but I did find a Graber label. This part looked the same as the control mechanism on our blinds, so I took a chance and ordered it. The metal housing was different but I was able to swap out the plastic innards very easily so that I could use the old housing and old screw holes. Note that when you wedge out the plastic part the gears will probably fall out, but it's very easy to put them back in with some common sense on how to arrange them. Hopefully my blinds will be good to go for another 30 years. To install: remove the two screws holding the steel housing in place. Slide the old part out. Swap in the new plastic gear assembly into the old steel housing. Feed the old nylon cord over the rollers on the new part. Slide the housing back into place. Replace the two screws. Done.

So much easier than you’d think
I fixed my vertical blinds all by myself! They wouldn’t tilt anymore. The gears had stripped and the chain just slid around. They are very old and it’s a huuuge window so it would have meant a lot of money to replace. I was able to see the mechanism and this looked similar so I took a chance. It was so easy. Tilt the blinds all the way open, or perpendicular, undo 2 screws. Carefully slide the old mechanism off the star rod and slide the cords off the little wheels. Take the new mechanism, replace the cords on the wheels, balance the chain so the big beads are centered, slide it back on the star rod, attach the screws and you are good to go. Holy cats! I’m thrilled!

Expensive, but works
I purchased this to replace the mechanism on our vertical blinds. The plastic gear on the inside had stripped so we could no longer open/close the blinds. This went on an 8' section there was always a heavy load while pulling. Simple to swap out. Price fluctuates from $10 - $30 so buyer beware.
