Accurate, cheap, and easy to install
We switch from the old mercury circle thermostat that was not accurate at all. This great. It is accurate within 1 degree of our other thermometers and it was super easy install. We live in an old drafty house and I did need to turn off the compressor protector off because it was getting too cold between cycles.

I was replacing the same unit, many years old, could slide the new one right into place. Did not have to take wiring out and put back in. Sweet.

ONE MONTH RETURN POLICY FOR THIS GARBAGE
Bought in winter and the heat relay worked —did not check cool..—-mistake because 3 months later when I did, it did not work. Figured no big deal, I will return it and get one that works.I was informed at that time item has ONE MONTH WARRANTY—-SO NO RETURN OPTION. ONE MONTH WARRANTY!!I then ordered an Emerson thermostat—all the relays worked but the display did not. Was able to return this one.Gave up, went to Home Depot and bought a thermostat that actually works.

Easy to set up, it literally took only 10 minutes and 5 of those was looking for a small screwdriver.
