It was clear that this item had been returned and was repacked. The box was ragged. It was not manufacturer sealed. It had regular packing tape on the box. It was not placed in a shipping box. It was wrapped shabbily in bubble wrap that looked 100 years old and placed between two broken pieces of styrofoam. The carry bag for the device when not in use was also missing.

A little great device. I use it when I have a cold to expand my lungs. It does the job well.

Many years ago, my father had pneumonia and got a "toy" from the hospital where they were treating him. The spirometer he received had a capacity of 4,000 ml. This appears to only have a capacity of 2,700 ml/cc. In the days as a semi-competitive swimmer, I could barely peg his version. This one's fairly easy to maximize.If working with limited lung capacity, this will help show your lung volume and hopefully improvement in your lung volume. For athletes, this probably doesn't have the capacity you need so I'd look elsewhere.

I needed to get this product for my beautiful and loving mom who is 88 yrs old. She came out of the hospital 2 months ago from slipping into a coma. She has been on an oxygen tank for24 hours a day, but just recently that time has decresed! This item is invaluable to us because she gets to exercise her lungs and see her progress! We practice throughout the day! At first, she could only get one ball up, then a few days later she got the second ball up. The third ball is now halfway there, but not all the way up, but she'll get there because she is tenacious and has a strong will to live and be healthy! It is important for her to see visually her lungs are improving :). We made a game out of it! She laughs at times using it, and it gladden our hearts. Laughter is the best medicine! This is a high quality product that I truly recommend to anyone who wants to improve thier lung capacity! It a gift from heaven. It came promptly and in great condition! You get what you pay for. Pretty flimsy.

Had one years ago but lost in a move. Got this one in and easy to use. Someone with COPD might find this hard to work but honestly its the best lung exerciser. I want off my C-pap and now know that my issue is with weigh loss that I need to do. This little device turn upside down and exhale and hold is my difficulty but inhale I get all three balls up easily and hold for 20 seconds when turned upright. So I do both and I noticed that the exhale has me coughing just a few times but it clears my lungs. I have normal sinus drainage down my throat so in the morning cough to clear the lungs. I'm hoping over time this will be less of a cough fit and eventually get off my cpap. This one you can open and clean which hygienically that is ideal for any bronchial exercise and healthier for you. I will recommend this to my friends in a heart beat. Excellent product.
