The Cube R2 from motion nine is a form fitting cage for the Sony A7RII and the Sony A7SII camera. It is CNC machined from one solid piece of aluminum for increased durability and safety. Our main focus while designing this cage was to allow for easy mounting of additional accessories on the cage - which provides more convenience to your shooting environment. For that reason, the cage was designed with a plethora of 1/4 inch mounting holes at all angles, which allows for the easy mounting of many additional accessories like monitor, recorder etc. It was specifically built for the A7RII and the A7SII so it fits the camera body perfectly - you wont experience any issues of LCD's tilting up and down. You can also operate the dial knob, and every push button of the camera without any restrictions. On the bottom of cage, there is a built in body weight support, which prevents the camera from losing its balance when heavy lenses are mounted. A dovetail-type quick release system, "Classic Plus Handle" has maximized the convenience so it is more comfortable and convenient to assemble. You can also easily adjust the balance by moving the handle back and forth. The integrated one touch locking system cable clamp prevents the break away of the cables and protects your cables from getting damaged. Cables can be mounted quickly and easily. It can be folded and unfolded easily and there is no gap between the body and cable clamp so it gives you a perfect binding. The cable clamp can also be used as a second handle.
