Major improvement for a minimum cost!
Product is as described. Installation on my 1993 Honda Del Sol SI (bought it new in 1993 and under 80k miles on it) was straightforward and only took about 15 minutes. This made a tremendous difference in rigidity on the body and almost an unbelievable improvement on the handling feel and reduction in road imperfection passed through to the driver and passenger. Better than new and should have been done by Honda from the factory!

Can't Believe the Results
Now I know what you're thinking: "Oh it's just a cheap knockoff of a name brand so it won't be any better." Well stop right there! This front strut bar/brace reduced my body roll and understeer dramatically, I was cutting corners faster than I ever thought imaginable in my car (even better with the matching rear strut bar/brace). Spec-D Tuning really know what they were doing with their products. This strut can be taken apart so you may place the supports on the suspension bolts and be tightened down as anchors, you can then widen or shorten the actual bar to what level of stiffness you prefer (adjustable = OMG), then once you have everything the way you want it just tighten everything down and you're ready to run. Looks amazing under then hood (which by the way fits perfectly without hitting anything) and makes your car not only feel, but LOOK, track ready. I would 110% suggest this to anyone. Now I would highly suggest getting the matching rear strut bar/brace along with this for maximum effect but if you can only do one at a time start with the front first.

May need work!
I purchased this bar for my daily driver, 2000 civic lx. Price is great compared to name brands but some things just werent right.Shipped fast, within 2-3 days of order, and arrived in good condition however, i recieved a different bar from whats in the picture. Rather than the round, bronze bar i recieved a polished, thin bar with a thick center. Figured for $25 id just paint it so thats tolerable.Once i tried installing the bar however, it would not clear the stock, plastic airbox. I ended up having to cut 4/5 across each mount's fins, bend them to point up a few degrees, weld the gaps, and repaint them. Simply more work than i had hoped. On the bright side, once all was finished the bar bolted up perfect. I have had strut bars from Megan Racing made from the same T-6061 billet Aluminum and this bar was actually stiffer than those while still very light weight. The bar and mounts are of acceptable quality and the paint/finish looks great.I did not take the time to pre-load this bar, but upon driving it did give a stiffer ride and gives more sensitivity of road from the front end. I was suprized how planted the car was on corners. Body roll is reduced and steering is more precise. If youre not scared to make a few modifications, this bar is the way to go!

Does what it's supposed to for a good price.
Great product for a daily driver. It shipped to me in less than a week. Installation is pretty straight forward. It took me about 15 min.once I had all my tools. Which basically a socket set and an open box set. It does exactly what it states. Stiffened up the front end right away. I have no power steering so I noticed the difference immediately. Car corners much better and even straight line driving is improved. My car is also stock height so I really feel the difference. Well worth the price. Will update if anything changes but I am a happy customer right now.

Cheap garbage unless you also have scrap metal and can weld.
It’s garbage. I don’t know why it has as many reviews as it does… it’s probably from people who don’t know how these are supposed to work, cheap metal, flimsy, no support, do not buy

Basic setup, but works well
The front end of my civic needed a little more chassis stiffening, so I looked up some strut tower bars. Spec-D has been around for quite some time, so I knew it wasn't going to be crap. I also knew it isn't going to be a PWJDM or MPC quality piece, but it does do the job. My daily commute to and from work has improved a noticeable amount and firms the front end to where I want it. Very happy with my purchase.

great buy, honda civic 98 LX 4door
Great product, don't care what anyone says it maybe be cheap it may not have a brand on it put I'm telling you this is the way to go. I've actually notice a big difference in handling, the front of my car feels like one solid piece now I feel when turning. The car doesn't sway or lag to the right or left it's just solid I don't how to explain it but it does what it's supposed to do you'll notice once you get it trust me. Very happy with this!

Best $25 I've ever spent
Bought this for my daily driver, 2000 Honda Civic EX with the 1.6L vtec. Super easy to install. The hardest part was removing my rusty strut tower bolts! The brace adjusts to whatever length you need & then locks into place. Pretty simple to figure out. I took my civic for a test drive and WOW... No more "floaty" feeling around curves & the car feels really planted to the ground now. I actually enjoy driving my daily again. I haven't tested it on the highway but i'll update this review when I get a chance to!

Stability
Great product, fit with little trouble, and looks good. However the biggest benefit is the stability it adds to the car. I also installed the rear strut bar and between the two, the car is more solid and stable down the highway. All companies should be installing them on their econo boxes. Not because they cost next to nothing, but at least for the safety benefit it offers. I installed mine on a 97 Honda civic sedan.
