The media could not be loaded.  I have bought a number of firelighters and they often start well but either become tricky to light, are messy to refill or are cheap looking. This is none of those things.It comes in a gift box which is lovely if you are wanting to give to that hard-to-buy-for relative.Once I opened the box, I was impressed with the weight and quality of the lighter. It feels like it will last!It was very easy to fill for the first time and, although the gas cannister is not huge, you can easily see how much remains. When you do need to refill it, it takes literally seconds!The hoop on the bottom makes adjustment of the flame size very easy.The flame is impressive in a blow torch style. I have used it for our stove, candles and an external chimenea. On all occasions it has lit straight away and worked perfectly. Cannot recommend this enough!

The jet flame torch lighter is very long and due to the midpoint (push up) ignition, makes it very easy for long reach lighting. The only consideration should be, not to point it directly at things that melt easily as it is a very hot and direct flame. I used this to light candles in pumpkins and it was excellent, however you needed to give it plenty of angle and not get to close to melt to much wax. All in all the lighter works very well and cigarette lighting even in windy conditions is a breeze (No Pun intended). The lighter is supplied with no gas but is very easy to fill up using normal gas lighter refills and its very easy to adjust the flame using the hoop at the base of the lighter.

Comes in a nice presentation box... a bit unnecessary for me, but nice if a gift. Easy to fill, but does seem to get through has really quickly. I am going to monitor more closely after refilling after just 2 days and about 5 uses. Very effective flame - lights fire really easily.

I liked the neat size and appearance of this lighter. It is easy to fill from a standard gas lighter refill can, and it works as you'd expect. It is a bit tricky to adjust the flame so it always lights because when you've just refilled it, the flame is bigger. (This is mentioned in the instructions). Once you've used it a few times, you get to know where to set the flame size so it always lights first time.I like the fuel window that lest you see that there is gas in it (and how much).The flame is like a mini-blowtorch: blue, hot and strong. It lights candles perfectly well unless you deliberately destroy the wick by putting it in the hottest part of the flame.So far, 6 weeks occasional use, no problems.

Ive now purchased three of these. Having purchased one for my own use Ive ended up ordering two more for family members. The items are well made and so easy to use and refill. The flame produced is excellent and perfect for lighting the gas hob and wood burner. Much better and safer to use than matches or cigarette lighters.

Purchased to light our log burner. Seems very well made and has a good strong adjustable flame. There is a clear screen so you can see how much gas is left in it. It seems easy to fill and lasts well.Definitely one of the better Gas lighters out there.

At first I was delighted - it looks good, feels study and worked a treat. But after a few months it stopprd working - no matter what I do adjusting the flame/refilling the lighter. It just would not create a clear flame. Then I noticed gas is still emitted after you stop pushing the trigger - for quite a while. I fuilled it up and did not touch it/did not use it for a couple of day and then checked the gas level - definitely the gas is leaking.So.. now I think it could even be dangerous as the gas is definitely leaking from the lighter.

On my 5th one this year. They are good, espcially for outisde, but they break very fast and also shock your hand everytime you use.
