Scuba Compass

It's big. I am a big guy (6,2 220 lbs) This thing is bigger than I would have liked. I'm pretty sure I could wear it around my thigh. The dial and compass actually seem to work fine, so if you are in the market for a ginormous compass, this might be the one.Update 3/22, So I actually used it in the water. I still hate it as a wrist compass, but I used the included attachement to put it on my gauge hose, then the size is not a problem at all. So as a clip on gauge hose, it is great.

I have no sense of direction, none! Never did and figured I never would. I always got lost driving, I want to snow shoe in up state NY where I live but thought about it but now all is possible! The all rubberized band is perfect for my allergy to anything metalic and I am going on a road trip next week and even though I have GPS on my phone which I will use of course I will be wearing my SCUBA compass. This is a great compliment to GPS because GPS does not show due North! By the way, my last compass got washed in the washing machine and I just had to replace it, the dial was off the spindle inside! This one is nice and big and will not be lost I am sure. It is water proof too.

I liked the fact that it can be either worn or hooked to the gauges hose. The numbers are written with very thin font making it hard to read. In addition, the viewing window on the front is hard to use. The degrees are not seen easy which makes it unpractical to use.Amazon site should place more pictures of the product to make it easier for the customers to view what they are really getting.The material is good.. but its design is bad.

Have had this compass for a couple of years now and is still working great, for the price it is a good deal. It can stick a little if you don't hold it perfectly level. Also if you look straight down at the degrees it is reversed , so you are forced to look at the side port. Other then that it is a great product.

I personally would rather have bought just a watch with a compass. But the numbers are large and easy to see. They can go quite deep with out breaking as well.

What's lacking nowadays, is very poor quality instructions, or no instructions. Other than that, it's a good tool to have. Something to fall back on when the batteries die out.

This compass does seem to hang and it is bigger than I thought it was. They should post a picture of it on a man's wrist. I am going to see if I can return it. It's probably OK for diving, but I also wanted to use it for sailing and it looks too big if not diving.

Don't bother to buy this compass it if you want to use it for outdoor activities when the temperature is below 32 degrees.The liquid in the case will freeze solid.
