SB001 Complete Buoy

This is a durable, highly visible marker. I have owned this for years. It has never failed to perform. I use 400lb. mono as a leader to avoid the nylon cord chafing on any underwater structures.

Just what I need, fine oroduct

The flag fell off during the first trip but it's still easy enough to see. I tied a floating string and small float to the top to indicate the drift.

Product was very cheaply made and overall quality of product assembly very poor!! I would have returned it but my someone in my household through out the packaging,the float ball on the top was installed crooked and loose. Problem is you cant remove it and correct the issue!!!

Marking wrecks.

Although I love these marker bouys, this one arrived with a crack in the plastic tube that fits down into a rod holder and serves as the deployment mechanism for the line. I would have just taped it with duct tape, but for $100+ item, it should not be broken when it arrives. I'm sending it back. I have already put in a replacement order for another one. I can recommend this item... I would just caution you to inspect it closely when it arrives.

When it works it is great. Marker will be directly on top of weight. Unfortunately, I have lost two of them for the same reason. The glue breaks down and the styrofoam separates from housing. Housing sinks to bottom and styrofoam floats off. Screw foam to plastic center.
