Love these socks
My walking boots had become very uncomfortable, always rubbed and after about 5 miles walks stopped being fun. So I was considering buying a new pair but with online being the only option to buy in lockdown I was a little wary, it's much better to try that sort of thing on before you buy. My husband uses twin skins for cycling and suggested I tried them first. Very glad I did. They are lovely, so soft on my feet. It's a joy to use my walking boots again. So if you're thinking your walking boots need replacing try this cheaper option first. It worked for me and I will be recommending these socks at every opportunity.

Not the quality I expected
On receiving the socks, I was so pleased with them, they felt great to put on, and I was convinced that I would buy quite a few pairs. However, after wearing for the third time, I had a hole in the toe on one foot and the other one was showing wear. The maximum I ran was 1 x 5 miles and 2 x 3 miles. I was seriously not impressed. I love Ron Hill clothing - all my running gear is Ron Hill - apart from socks.

No blisters after marathon
Ordered these for running a marathon. Totally comfortable, no blisters or rubbing. Great socks for runners.

Great socks for long hikes.
These socks are brilliant. I have bought x3 pairs.They are not too long and they are incredibly comfortable. I bought them for a 50 mile walk and they did me proud. I did wear plasters but at the end I only had the tiniest blister on my little toe.
