Best jack for terminating Cat6a cable
These jacks have everything you could ask for:- easily loads cat6a 23 gauge wire- load bar design is easier than pull thru design- shielded- comes with fitted strain relief bootI am not an expert network technician, and I found these plugs easy to use and terminate during my home networking project. The instructions are pretty easy to follow, even though they aren't fluent English. After three attempts to terminate my cat6a cable with cat6 plugs and keystones, I ended up getting these cat6a plugs, and they worked well. This plug is shielded, and it comes with a matching stress relief boot. My termination (pictured) looks professional.

Good for huge cables, but bad load bar design
I bought these because I had ~7.5mm OD cable and almost nothing else could support such a sizable cable. They do indeed support very large cables, and they are shielded. They work great once you manage to terminate them. The problem is that instead of using the good load bar design, where the load bar goes all the way to the end and doesn't let you insert cables too far, this uses the design where the load bar has holes on the end, and doesn't go all the way to the contacts. This means that you have to insert the cables precisely far enough, because it will get stuck if you put them in too far. Then, once the load bar reaches the end of its travel, you have to push the cables further in. If one of them gets stuck, you get to remove the cable, fish the load bar out with small tool, then try again.

Absolute Garbage
Cut all of these off and replaced them as they were complete junk. Total waste of money. After doing the install several things stopped working over time and it was because of these crappy, flimsy, poorly made RJ45's would for some reason lose their connection and just stop conducting all together. They are not the passthrough type so you can't easily see the order of the conductors as you install these and because of the tinted plastic its almost impossible to see if your wires landed on the correct pins before crimping so you end up using two or more for each termination by having to re-do it. The price is not worth it, you'd be better off paying a little more for a better quality shielded RJ45

Half of mine failed & No way to contact seller for warranty..
Background: I've been building Ethernet cables for decades, used a variety of connectors and never had as many failed connectors as this set.Pro's:- The included clear aligner makes this much easier than normal.- Look goodCon's:- Half of mine failed right away. (The issue could be that I have solid wire as the pins couldn't pierce the wire and instead had to bend around it?)- With solid cat 6 wire, you have to be pretty dead on with the length remaining as you can't smash it in. I've yet to figure out exactly that length as I just thought of that, but makes it difficult.- Pins bend as you crimp. This likely was part of the cause of my failed connectors.- Not as easy to deal with as pass through connectors. (Wish I'd ordered those)Biggest Issue:They say they have a 10 year warranty, which is great! But... On the listing, through my order details, and in their store there is no way to contact the seller. So not sure how you'd even take advantage of this...

Look elsewhere
Purchased these to use with a compatible CAT7 cable for a POE install. Half of the pins would fail the test on each end, ground would be fine. Purchased non-shielded RJ45 connectors from another seller and they all passed, on each end, every time.

AWG 23 Threaded Well but Bad Crimps with Bent Pins. Doesn't crimp the PVC Jacket.
I was looking forward to using these for the shielding and the looks but went back to the Cable Matters 180064 to finish the job: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-100-Pack-Modular-Diameter/dp/B01CKLKBWSThe first crimp bent pin 3. The second crimp looked like the wires fed in to the end of the RJ45 but a cable test indicated there was an open. I also don't like how the jacks have a hole where you would usually crimp down on the PVC; the boot will not make up for securing the cable to the jack. They're good for aesthetics, that's about it. When the first 2/25 were bad, it was enough for me to give up on them.I don't like the pass throughs at all. It's extra work for someone who knows what they're doing. I feel the same about the double assembly. I just couldn't find exactly what I was looking for so I decided to give these a try.

Super high quality at a great price point. PERFECT for projects requiring customization on a budget.
I highly recommend these plug ends for just about any RJ45 CAT6A/7 DIY installation. Why I prefer these types over others? It's the quality man, they simply look, feel, and designed better than most. Take a close examination of the product and you'll see why. The metal housing is also a very nice touch, I've had several of these (pre-installed) in the past and they just have a really good look/feel to them, and when inserting it into a network port you oftentimes glide it right in accompanied with a very satisfying positive "click".Whether for industrial/commercial/home use it's a great choice. However not quite sure how well the metal(?) housing will stand up to the outdoor elements. As such, I would recommend this for primarily indoor use and within a relatively clean environment.I had to run several network cables spanning through my entire home (top/main/basement level + garage) It's so much more time efficient and you get a much better value since you're only using the cabling you need without any residual slack. As oppose to purchasing predefined lengths where you're often times left with a lot of unused slack - or you fall short of length if you didn't measure it up or plan well, a common and understandably easy error to make, especially for the novice.Overall Great stuff.

23awg minimum

I absolutely love the feel and quality of these connectors.
I have done a great deal of retro fitting our house with Cat6 network cabling for superior speed and connectivity versus the much more convenient and simpler use of Wi-Fi. As such I have cut a few hundred feet worth of line and had to install a whack of connectors to those lines. Some connectors were sturdy and well made while others were less so but none that I have bought to date, feel as well made as these ones do and none of them have that reassuring "click" when inserted into a port, that these do. They just feel good. They install and retain the individual strands equally as well. They even look the part of quality.I am really impressed with them and now wish that I had of been introduced to them sooner.I think these are a great value and definitely recommend them.
