I’ve ordered a total of 10 of these sets for a summer art class, after reading other positive reviews. The colored pencils are a good quality and value, have a nice lay down, and come in a wide assortment of pretty colors. The case is exceptional at this price. Very well made other than the zip is a little rough to use on the one I opened, but I’m ok with that as the pencil organizer is so well made otherwise, and an easy fix with a silicone band if it doesn't last.The set includes a small pad of watercolor paper, which will work despite the pencils not being watercolor, a metal sharpener, which is an upgrade from the expected plastic, some graphite & charcoal pencils which we’ll use for value studies before we do the projects. The only additional supplies I’ll add are some blending pencils, a support board with clips, and additional upgraded paper, which if bought in sheets and cut down, helps lower the total cost.

I love everything about this set! It is worth every penny. One of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. I bought 2 & am planning to buy another for a Birthday present.

These pencils are good for kids but not for professional artists. They are simply not hard enough. Watch out for the pressure you apply to it when you put them against the paper - they will easily break :(
