Love this light-very bright in low viz conditions!
The media could not be loaded. Updated:I finally got a chance to use the flashlight on a dive where a flashlight was needed. I live in Florida, it’s hurricane season and my last few lobstering and night dives had been canceled due to weather related to hurricanes off our coasts.I just went out on a sharks tooth dive in Venice, Fl where my visibility was all of 5’, maybe 7’ at best. I couldn’t see my buddies at all if they were 10’ from me so this light came in handy 1. For my buddies to have an additional way to see me and 2. For me to find some sharks teeth in such poor visibility water. I posted a photo of the high beam as well as the low beam light. Dive light is easy to turn off and on with a simple push of the button. The only thing I worry about is the light accidentally being turned on if it bumps something in my dive bag just because it turns on and off so easily. The good news is you receive 2 batteries in this setup so it should never really be an issue.Overall after getting a chance to use it in some very poor underwater visibility conditions I am very pleased with this light and I can honestly say I would recommend this to any divers out there!I just received my Orcatorch D550 and can't wait to get it underwater to give it a go and test it out. Out of the box the torch seems to be very sturdy and of good quality. The light is very bright. It has a low beam, a high beam and a flashing strobe light which all seem to work quite well on land. It comes with a wrist strap, a lanyard, 2 batteries which is nice so I have a back up to swap batteries if one is getting low. It also comes with the charger and a few extra o-rings. It suggests to lubricate the flashlight threads on occasion and there is no lubricant included. I messaged Orcatorch and they said to use vaseline. I work in a scuba shop and was comparing this to one of the lights we have in stock and this is almost identical to one we sell for $110 only this one comes with two batteries and a wrist strap, the other does not. The body of the other has a few minor differences and has 1050 lumens where as this is 1000. My current underwater torch has a switch I twist to turnout on and on almost every night dive I bump it and it gets switched off which is frustrating when lobstering so I am really excited as this one has a push button on the end of it. It's set into the handle a bit so I don't believe it can turn off as easily as my current torch. The only negative comment I have on this kit is the wrist strap is way too big for a woman's hand so I need to find one that is smaller as I'd like to have a wrist strap so I can film or lobster and not have to worry about holding on to the flashlight as it would free up a hand. I am going on a lobster dive toward the middle of the month and will upload a video and add some photos underwater and update my review. As it looks so far it seems to be of a great quality and a competitive price in comparison to others on the market. The ultimate test will be taking it on my dives so I will add onto this review once I get back from my dive.

Good quality, better than expected
The case and everything in it felt really premium and high quality. I was not expecting two 18650 batteries included, too, so I have a spare. Really worth it, just need to try it out in the sea but so far so good!

Comfortable to use and good brightness
The media could not be loaded. This dive light arrived very quickly and had everything necessary included. 1 light, 1 hand mount, 1 lanyard, 2 rechargeable batteries, 1 charger and 3 spare O rings. Everything was packed into a foam-lined hard case, it looks and feels very high quality.I love that it comes with a spare battery, so you can pop in a fresh one before the second dive. The light is easy to open and is operated by a push-button toggle on the back. (Has bright and dim settings.) I'm planning a dive this weekend and will post again post dive on how it works underwater. After diving with the light, I found that it provided good illumination and the beam was broader than my other light. I think this will be my new primary light. Having the hand mount was very convenient. I was able to find and identify several forms of sea life without having to hold the light in my hand. Now the only thing I need to keep in mind is being mindful of the beam when I inflate/deflate my BC (as I had it mounted on my left hand).
