SUUNTO Wrist-Top Computer Watch Replacement Strap Kit (Observer TT; Titanium)

So this product is much easier to use than the factory straps. The only problem is these bands are nortoriously difficult to get on. I would recommend purchasing a watch tool kit to get the spring bars in place. Took my at least 30 minutes with lots of cursing. It is difficult to see when the pin is engaged and will pop right out if not totally seated properly. That, however, is more of a design fault of the watch, not the strap.

I've been wearing it for a month already. I had the standard rubber strap at first, but after years it ripped. I'm hard on watches, so I'm glad its holding up. Be ready for a battle to get the pins in it if you don't have a tool. Best bet: take it to a watch-shop. I'm usually really good with them but this one took me 30+min to get it to mate with the watch.

This is a good way to replace the original strap at a lower cost than buying directly from Suunto however this strap appears to be the same quality as the one on the watch I was issued. So I expect this strap to last 13 months. I wish Suunto would stop using such crappy straps on $500 watches - the strap on my $350 Casio dive watch has lasted 6 years.

Suunto makes great watches, so I had no choice and bought this one. Why I had to buy it? Because my first one fall apart after two years. Didn't use it in any extreme conditions, so it came as a surprise to me. So, I had to buy $60+ strap.First of all, I don't get why they can't sell a piece of plastic without metal plates for $10 (well, I get, actually).I do not mind cutting the strap with the knife to fit it on the wrist, but can you put a $3 tool for those pins from hell that won't fit in their slots?And the last, but not least, after I spent an hour cursing while I try to fit those pins, I discovered that latch on the strap is clanking when I shake my hand. It is slightly different, from the one I had with my watch. So I'm thinking about replacing it with the old one. After I keep it in acid for a week to wash :)Very disappointing. And I was this close to buy another Suunto watch.Update: 2.5 years passed (I haven't wear watch for at least a year) and the strap has fall to pieces.I guess Casio is a way to go.

I was leary of buying these at full price from the manufacturer, so finding them here for less was nice. So far I have had no problem with the band itself afte almost a month.The only major issue is that they do not come with the Suunto tool the makes reinstalling a new band easy. It took about an hour to fight the new bands onto the watch body, the tool would have made it much faster. It comes with purchase of a band from Suunto, but for saving what I did on this band I'm not complaining too much.

If this band was factory issue, which I don't think it was, the quality has gone way down. This replacement was of such poor quality that I used the buckle and snaps from the band I was replacing. The band didn't fit the watch very easy, but I don't think that was a quality issue with this band, as they are just difficultto replace. In closing, it was cheaper than others, but I think I know why now. I would not purchase this itemagain.

The watch repair guy was frustrated in how to replace the old band, but the new band seems to hold up nicely. It'd be great if the original would have held up, considering the watch was $400+.

Watch strap is great but be aware when you order from this firm, Customs & Excise will charge you VAT and they apply a handling charge. This added another £11.61 onto the £82.86 i had already paid.There was no warning of this on the site, i had to pay it to receive the goods.

Save your self time and hassle: spent £55 on the replacement strap: 4 high street jewellers later, 6 hours of frustration and I still have not managed to replace this strap. It is very frustrating. The strap is easily removed but even with the correct jewellers tools this is extremely challenging to replace. In dong so I have now got a broken replacement strap, a scratched watch and I am still without a strap. Waste of time and money. Send it to suunto and get them to do it.
