I ordered 2 different brands of these kind of appliance dollies. The other one I got had 8 legs and was rated at 1100 lbs. but required more assembly. Since my dryer was coming early the next morning I just slid the bars into the corner pieces of each dolly and measured how wide they would open up and still be "stable." This one opens up to over 27 inches square but only has 4 feet. The other one with 8 feet only olened up to 26 inches square. Since I knew the dimensions of my old dryer were 27 x27 and the width of the new dryer was 27 inches, I chose to use this one. It was easy to assemble and I made it exactly 27 inches square. I am glad that I had it because when the brought the dryer they said they could not install it because it had to be 18 inches off the garage floor. Something that the salesman did not tell me. But withnthe 15 inch pedestal on this dolly, it brought it to the right height. Once it was installed on the dolly and hooked up, I was easily able to pull the dryer away from the wall enough so I could get behind it to clean the dryer vent. This has always been an issue and I prefer to be able to reduce the fire hazard and be able to clean the duct tubing over the. Small risk of som instability. All of the wheels do lock and with the 4 ft down, it seems stable enough. I did notice, however, that once the dryer was on the dolly, it did not take up the whole 27 inches. It is more like 26.5 inches, so to have all 4 feet of the dryer in the corners of the dolly, I will have to make some adjustments. But that also means that more of the metal bar will be inside of the plastic corners and that should make it more stable. I will be able to move the dryer out a couple of times a year to clean the duct. I will have to do an update to report on how it held up. Note: I would not have been able to put the dryer with its pedestal on the dolly myself. It would require two strong people. To adjust the width of the legs, I will have to enlist some help. This dolly is not going to be moved often. It will mostly stay in one fixed space except to clean the ducts. The other brand with 8 legs might be sturdier, so I am going to measure the washer to see if it will fit on that one before I return it. That is about all I can say right now.

Was simple enough to put together but some of the metal insert rods almost didn't fit as they weren't square, needed a bit of manipulation and force.It did crack with my weight concentrated in 1 corner (235lbs). The metal rods were extend slightly to give it a longer more rectangle shape, and it cracked in the plastic at the gap where there was no longer any metal support.Saying this, I know it's not designed for that use, but considering, I think you may need to be careful with how you load your load if you extend the rods.Even with the crack I still used to dolly without issue. I fully inserted the rods for more support and moved a 600lb gun safe.Unfortunately the shipping company for the safe would only do curbside and best they would do was leave it at the front door. Placing the dolly just inside, I was able to lay the safe on its back onto the dolly. From that point it easily wheeled across the tiled floor to where I needed to stand it back up. Locking the wheels and putting down the feet held it in place perfectly and was able to get the safe up easily enough.This thing was a lifesaver, allowing me to get the safe easily into the house over the front door ledge(~4.5in high) with no extra hands other than little aid from the wife.

Purchased it for a compact washing machine the wheels are nice and smooth very easily to move and the extra feet to absorb the vibration work beautifully would recommend this product

This product served my purpose perfectly and then some. I wanted away to safely and easily move my gas stove to sweep and mop behind it as well move it in the future when i replace my kitchen floor. Once my brother and I figured out how to evenly get the wheels under the stove I decided to leave the wheels under the stove so I don't have to go through the steps again in the future. This is great for a in home commercial kitchen. It gives the stove height and a clean appearance under the stove.
