Diskin DH1 Bluetooth Wireless Headphones with Inline Microphone, Stereo Sound Audiophile Beats, Lightweight Bluetooth Headset - Black / Gold

I am a huge fan of these. After reading the various reviews written about these headphones, here are my responses:FIT: I actually really like the fit of these headphones. A lot of people were stating that these fit on the tight side and can be uncomfortable my thoughts are that the "tight fit" is actually a positive attribute about these headphones. I personally was looking for a Bluetooth over the ear headphones to take the gym and lounge around in at the house. The fit and light weight of these headphones were one of the few headphones I can confidently wear around the gym. After going to BBY, I literally tried on 20 over the ear headphone and also after purchasing some other headphones on amazon I can attest to a quality fit.SOUND: I have the wired Bose headphones, and how I love wearing those headphones while travelling, one thing I do miss from those are heavy bass sound. These however meet my needs perfectly. Listening to hip hop is no issue here.STYLE: These look great and can compare to looks of Beats by Dre and Monster headphones. I do wish there was more of a yellow tint in the gold. I first thought I got rose gold, but the tint especially in not direct sun light made me think there was a difference based on the phone listed on amazon.NOISE CANCELLING: Now I may be baised after having bose, switching to beats studio, but then go back to bose again for the noise cancellation quality. I can't tell a difference with the noise cancellation. I play a clip on youtube of an in cabin airplane noise (to mimick being in an airplace) and after switching the noise cancelling back and forth I couldn't tell a difference. Now I must had that these headphones did a good job block the sound from the youtube clip, but it wasn't a 100% block and I could still hear some of the noise from the clip. If this is a big feature you need I would try and get something else.BUILD: I can't conclude on the build and will only have to see after having these headphones for a longer period.

I was a little shocked to see how much time and effort was put into designing this box. This isn’t just an average box. When I first touched this, it reminded me of the old vintage cardboard pencil boxes from the early 80’s BUT with a more modern look and feel. The magnetic latch is a nice touch as well. Though, it’s not a deal breaker, I do think that including a storage case of some sort would raise the bar in regards to a “Wow customer experience”. However, the box is a nice and durable box. Most people will likely suffice using it for storing the headphones.A CLOSER LOOK AT THE PRODUCTThe word “premium” is mentioned in the title of these headphones for a good reason. Cosmetically, these headphones look extremely nice. But they don’t only look nice, the technology used in these headphones are a bonus as well. Especially for the price.* If feels like the outer cups are made from alumunium and brushed in gold.* The headphones can extend about 2 inches and retract back through the polished metal accented clips.* The head and ear cushions are padded very well and extremely comfortable. I personally prefer to have cups that cover my entire ear and these do not. However, that DOES NOT take away from the comfortable feel of these headphones. I can wear these things for hours and not become annoyed with discomfort.On the right cup, you’ll find the “noise cancellation switch for activating and de-activating the noise cancellation technology.Below it is a microphone used to identify the ambiance in the room for noise cancellation processing.These are wireless Bluetooth headphones and supports the current 4.0 version. That being said, on the bottom of the right cup you’ll find the 3mm audio port for those who prefer to listen to audio with a cable.On the left cup, you’ll find the volume control buttons. These are also used to control the “next track” and “previous track” on your Bluetooth device.You also have your multi-function button for powering on and off as well as initiating Bluetooth discovery and connectivity functions.And finally, you have your micro-USB port for charging the headphones.NOTE: You can also use these headphones for answering and declining calls with a Bluetooth capable cell phone.I had no issues discovering and connecting to these headphones via Bluetooth. I know all of this sounds nice, but your probably more interested in knowing the quality of sound from these headphones. Are these things worth buying and do they sound great?Yes, they are worth buying. NO, they don’t sound great, THEY SOUND FANTASTIC!In my video review of the Photive BT-H3 headphones, I complimented those head phones for sounding pretty decent for the price. But, for the record, let me state that these headphones sound 10 times better! The bass is deeper and more defined. In addition to that…. the higher frequencies are a lot more crisp on these headphones. The BTH3’s have more of a dull flat monitoring sound compared to these headphones.When I want to hear high quality sound, I typically reach for something with a cable. Not having to worry about a cable has it’s convenient moments, BUT my ears hear a little better quality when using a cable. That’s not the case with just these headphones, I’m referring to all bluetooth/wireless audio technology in general. Yes, the audio still sounds good when listening via bluetooth, but my ears hear and hit a sweet spot when listening via a cable.The active noise cancellation technology worked flawless for me and I have no complaints there. The included 3mm cable matches the color accents of the headphones. It’s about 4ft in length and has a built in multi-function button. So over-all, these are the best sounding headphones that I currently own. To get this technology and sound quality at this price (currently $49) is pretty amazing. I am actually using the product right now.First, great design, well built. The 'gold' looks more like a rose gold in the pic, but it's definitely gold when you get the phones. I like the button usage, and the comfort on the ears.The device paired instantly with my phone, and tablet. However, I run a Dell Latitude at work (primary use for the phones) and they did not connect right away. Took a few hours to completely charge/ turn off/turn on/ turn off/ turn on. Then same procedure with the laptop WHILE the headphones were discoverable. Then the icon popped up labeled "Diskin" as a phone bluetooth earpiece-type icon. Laptop instantly downloaded a driver update and was connected. I had to go through Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Manage Audio Devices. Then click on the 'Bluetooth Headphones' NOT 'Bluetooth headset'. Choose connect, and had sound (finally.)What they say about the Noise cancelling inhibiting the sound, is true; HOWEVER, I am not listening to heavy bass songs while at work. Usually soundtracks or classic rock of some form, so I turn up the sound a couple notches and it's great quality.

Bought these headphones back in the spring of 2016 for a great deal less than similar headphones. I don't use the noise cancellation feature very much--so I don't know how it compares--but the Bluetooth has always paired well with all my devices, including my newer laptop (from 2019). Comfortable and good sound quality still. Lost them so I was hoping to get another pair just like.
