I had a Targus bluetooth adapter for my laptop. It eventually broke from being bumped and banged around. I was looking for the smallest replacement adapter I could find to avoid this breakage hazard. This Planex adapter appeared to fit the (smaller) bill. Well, it is SLIGHTLY smaller than my Targus adapter, but not much. It does work fine and because if flashes constantly, finding my laptop in the dark is much easier ;-)Performance is good and have had no compatibility issues. Time will tell on whether it can take more bumps than my previous adapter.

This bluetooth dongle is amazing for its size! Supports all Bluetooth 4.0 protocols. The only downside is finding the drivers. The drivers, unfortunately, are only available on the manufacturer's Japanese site here: http://www.planex.co.jp/support/download/bluetooth/bt-micro4/accept/bt-micro4_driver_v1.shtmlScroll to the bottom of the page and click on the bottom left button. If you are using Google Chrome, you can translate the page into English.

For starters the instruction manual was not in English, only Japanese or something. Then I somehow installed anyway, and my computer started crashing once per day. The bluetooth worked, but it was not worth it because the rest of my computer would not. I stopped using it, and the computer works fine again.

The good: The bluetooth works well with the enclosed mini-CD containing Motorola Bluetooth software. I've connected and used my Blackberry, a set of BackBeat bluetooth headphones and my HP printer all at the same time. The stereo bluetooth to the BackBeat headset gives great sound (at least as great as one gets from in-the-ear bluetooth headsets).The bad: The mini-CD enclosed has the handbook on it. Unfortuantely, the handbook is not written in any European language nor Arabic, Hebrew or Russian. If you read/understand an eastern Asian language, you might be in luck.Important information: Install the Motorola Bluetooth software BEFORE you plug the bluetooth device into a USB port on your computer. Otherwise, at least in Windows 7 Ultimate, the device manager installs the generic MS bluetooth driver, and finds 3 "unknown" devices.

Very good low-profile Bluetooth good adapter. The only problem was that the printed installation instructions were not in in English. The installation disk, however, was in English.

Just plugged it and it worked. I was using this on a MacBook Pro to provide BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) to my iOS simulator for Xcode.

This wireless USB adapter is great for home use,It works great ! My ethernet port got hit by lightning on my desktop so i purchased this and it works great!

Did not work and lack of instrutions

キャノンプリンターMP610とWindowsPC・MacPCそれぞれと簡単にリンクさせることに成功しました！みなさんのアドバイスの元、付属のドライバCDは使用せずに、プリンターへ本商品を装着し、ペアリングさせたところ、あっという間にリンクに成功！1階から2階に置いてあるプリンターへのデータ送信・速度も問題なく使えました。すでに7•8年使用しているプリンターですが、まだまだ綺麗に印刷できますので、暫く活躍してくれそうです！！

PCはOptiPlex 9020 Windows10 Pro。購入初日は稀に音が途切れたりする（PCとBluetooth機器の距離約1.2m）ものの問題なく接続できましたが数日後全く接続しなくなりました。PCの電源を入れる前にBluetoothをオンにしたスマホを近づけことが原因なのか・・・。デバイスを削除して再び追加しようとしても一覧にスピーカーやヘットセットなどのブルトゥース機器が全く表示されない状況。PLANEXのFAQを一通り試しても状況は変わらず。USBポートを差し替え等して何とかペアリングして復旧したもののこんなに苦労するとは思いませんでした。あり合わせのUSB延長ケーブルでアダプターとBluetoothスピーカーの距離を縮めて今後様子を見ることにします。（2020/02/07追記）他のレビューにも書かれていた通りペアリングさえしてしまえば接続には問題なくなりました。音声の途切れについては、USB延長ケーブルでスピーカー機器に近づける（70Cmほど）ことで若干改善されましたが完全には無くならず聞きづらいこともしばしばです。同時購入した機器側に問題があるのかと思いスマホを接続すると2mほどの距離でも問題ないのでやはりこの商品に問題があるようです。

接続ができないのでカスタマーセンターに電話しようというところです携帯電話はXPERIA1 で、他のBluetooth機器との接続は良好です！

自分のPCにBluetoothが対応していないため、、購入。実際に、自分が使ってるヘッドホンは、Beats Studio Wirelessで、接続してみたところ、音質は問題はありませんでした。しかし、若干の遅延が発生したのを、ゲームをやってる時に起きました。遅延がなければ、５つ星でした。

小さくても高性能。後は、どの程度の耐久性と安定性、持続性が気になります。
