I wanted to like this thing but couldn't because I realized it wasn't what I was needing. I'm in need of a step to help me get up in my truck tool box and with this step I'm still too far back to reach inside my truck tool box. Overall it's a pretty decent product, good price and seemed stout. So now I'm on the hunt for some running boards or step bars that will run from wheel to wheel I guess. My only problem is I own a regular cab truck so it's going to almost impossible to find the correct length I really need. So I've been searching on Amazon at all the dimensions on what boards I can and just get a set for a different truck and try to find some mounting brackets for a 2000 Toyota Tundra. Looking for something around 87 inches long. Idk I hope to find something because I'm not paying 150 for a amp flip down step insane. But this is a nice piece

It fits snug and did not slip in use. Very sturdy and folds for storage. It is heavy enough that it will not blow out when left in the bottom of the trailer I use it on

This tire step is awesome, I've bought 2. One for each truck lol. The other i purchased was Jegs but it was a different color and was on sale at the time.

This review is for the wheel step.Well, it works. It's adjustable, I was able to fit it on my all terrain tires on my 2014 F-150 to work on the spark plugs. The step has nice aggressive non-slip grips, which after setting this up, I realized it really needs (details below).So why the 3 stars? Well, the step doesn't sit even / flat / flush. After adjusting the framing to the correct size of my tire (which was really easy, BTW), the step leans back, like it's tilting away from the vehicle. It's not flat like you'd expect. It angles more like a ramp than a step. When you set it up and look at it, it makes you wonder if it'll hold your weight or snap the rest of the way back. It just doesn't look solid, or doesn't look like it was built properly.With that said, it did hold my weight (240lbs) and did make changing my spark plugs a lot easier. However, if I was to purchase another one again, I'd want a different brand that the step sits level with. I just can't shake the feeling that this thing is going to collapse while I'm standing on it and leave big gashes in my legs when they scrape across the "anti-skid" surface on my way down.So in the end, I give 3 stars. It does work, the adjustments are easy to use, but the build quality has me concerned.

Very handy and well built product. I was worried that it would rest on the face of my rims and damage them, but I made the adjustment fitting over the tire top a little tighter and then it just rested in the tire sidewall.Used this to access a roof box on our Ford Expedition, and this made it very easy. Would recommend.Only gripe is that it rattles in the back of the truck when driving, but that was solved with an old towel and bungee cord.

Decent quality construction, heavy duty, and fits my 20" wheels (F350) with no problem. Very handy for accessing the bed of the truck and especially my 5th wheel slider hitch release.Only issue was the item I received had obviously been used or "tested" by someone else previously; however, item was sold as new. Original packaging was in rough condition and missing one of the safety pins, but for the sake of a 10 cent pin, I'll keep the item.
