This is an aluminum, moderately thin-walled stamping pot with an anodized outer finish that seems pretty durable. The interior is coated with a type of non-stick surface. Not sure what type. They are usually sensitive to overheating and damaging the non-stick surface. The sides are deep and it works well for lighter duty things. For long cooking etc, I would prefer a heavier iron or thick-walled aluminum dutch oven style pot. I use it to assemble sauces and light cooking. It is my secondary go-to pot for making pasta. I didn't want to spend big money for a second heavy duty pot. The price was right and it works well for my purpose.

I bought this pot because I make my own tomato sauce. The pot i have always burns on the bottom of the pot. This one doesn't. This pot is a dream to cook in and clean. I love it!

I liked this pot, but be sure not to use metal ladles or anything metal inside the pot as my pot's interior got scratches and I had to replace it.

Not only is this excellent quality, it is beautiful as well. The inside is a lovely off white, sparkly color. It cooks food very evenly. You are not supposed to cook it on high but it boils very nicely. I always boil it at a seven on my electric stovetop. Cleaning with care is key so you want to follow the instructions She’s so beautiful, you wouldn’t want to scratch her. I highly recommend this item.
