Large bag
Love that it wasn’t packed down. You don’t get as much as the packed down versions but not having to soak it is definitely a plus. It has lasted me a long time as it comes with a lot so definitely good value for money. It comes in a large bag but it is not resealable so keep that in mind. Once wet it smells like dirt and you can see the coconut fibers. Good quality. The photo I have has sphagnum moss on top so it may appear different.

works great for ball pythons
I bought this for a ball python. It was better texture than the chips that had previously been in the tank for it.

Quantity
This is NOT 10 pounds as advertised where you choose the one you want to order!! Very misleading and very unhappy. It’s a 5 quart bag which is in the picture but below, where you order, it says you are ordering 10 pounds. Where is that coming from???

Excellent for our need
We use this for bedding in our tortoise enclosure. I purchased quite a bit for when he goes into hibernation. It’s clean. I moisten it first then let it dry out. I like that its a cleaner bedding and lighter than dirt. Have used similar product for two years, this was very nice quality

My snake loves this bedding! It absorbs moisture well and is super soft. So glad I switched to this type of substrate.

It's decent took 3 bags for a 40 gallon reptile tank for snake.
I like the compressed Coco fiber is better. I had gotten this to skip having to soak the compressedCoco fibers in water. It's much more fluffy. It seems to have a bit more of an earthy smell. It's an okay product just not my preference.
