Bacharach 0013-7019 MZF Draft Gauge, 0.05 to 0 to -0.25" WC

I've had this Bacharach MZF draft gauge for several years and it still works as good as new. This model has been around for decades so is a time proven design. I find it simple to use and extremely accurate. It is a free standing unit with a large easy to read analog pointer. It has a range from +.05 to -.25 Inches Water Column and comes with a 9-foot long flexible rubber tube with a 5-inch metal probe tip so can be set up a good distance away from the equipment if needed. I use it most often for checking and adjusting draft on oil fired equipment. The big advantage for me with this larger free standing model as opposed to a small handheld model is that I can connect and set it in place to observe the gauge response to adjustments in real time as I make changes to the settings on the burner primary air band, barometric draft hood and power venter damper instead of having to retest after making adjustments as another separate step. It's a fairly expensive gauge, but if you work on gas and oil fired heating equipment often it should pay for itself in short order.
