It provides more protection than I would have expected.
I thought this product was going to be a waste of money, what is a little bit of foam going to do? But I figured better safe than sorry when it comes to my babies. Boy am I glad I purchased this item!PRO:- IT WORKS! This little foam bumper has protected my toddlers eyes and head from more scratches than I can count. Of course it still hurts when he falls onto this item, but at least he isn't bleeding from hitting a sharp edge.- EASY TO INSTALL. Just tape it on. It is that simple. The tape on this product is 3m and it has kept this product in place for 2.5 years in my kitchen. I am now putting this all over the dressers and bed in my 2.5 yr old toddler's room.- COMES IN VARIOUS COLORS. This makes the item look less obvious from afar.- SHIPPED QUICKLY. I received this product withing 5 days of placing the order.CON:- IT IS JUST TAPE. So, I don't recommend letting your toddler watch you install them. I made that mistake and it took me a month to get my toddler to stop ripping one of the corner pieces off. Of course, if it was any stronger than tape, it would ruin my furniture, so, I am not taking a star off.

This is good stuff and easy to apply but it's not terribly sticky. That's good because it doesn't damage your furniture and bad because my 11 month old is able to pick it off pretty easily.

Safe or choking hazard?
Short version of my review:This item is soft enough and protects our baby's head, but the material gets easily torn off in chunks by our teething baby and may be a choking hazard. I would give it 2 stars as it does protect our baby's head (which is the main reason to buy this item), but would give it zero stars for it's potential choking hazard...hence, the 1 star!So here goes my full review:We measured our furniture and realized that we'd need to buy quite a few of these to cover all our sharp-edged items. Before spending all that money, we decided to buy one set to try it out and we're glad we did. We've had this item on for about a week now. I'm not sure what the foam material is made of, but it's good when it keeps our baby from bumping his head; however, our teething little munchkin is EASILY able to chew off bits of it. I've already had to intervene once to take out a small chunk that was stuck in the side of his throat. He's also thrown up a chunk, thankfully. I'm sure he's swallowed some of the smaller pieces when I wasn't looking. This is pretty unnerving as we're doing this to have some peace of mind.I'm trying to see if there are any other options out there to baby proof our home, but I wanted to put this out there for other parents who might not want their baby to be swallowing chunks of this stuff. Even if I'm paranoid about the choking thing and the company came back to say that there's not a choking hazard, I wouldn't want to buy another one, because I don't want this material in my baby's stomach. After seeing the bigger chunks in his mouth, I desperately want to take this stuff off. I watch him very closely, but he's crafty and sometimes he does this when I have my back turned. Very frustrating. I just wish this material was better and that I didn't have to worry about one more thing.I'm including a picture of this item with my baby's bite marks on it.

Expensive, and tricky removal
You don't get very much for $17. Very functional once it is installed, but babies will love to chew on it. :) They stayed on well for me, but when it was time to remove them, they got tore up pretty good. The tape is very hard to remove... Goo-Gone didn't help at all. Don't count on being able to reuse them after removal.

Corner pieces work great and that's about it
the corner pieces stay attach as long as no one messes with them. the long piece is about useless as far as i'm concerned.

Keeps kids safe
Our friend's daughter slipped and managed to bang her face on the edge of their TV center. She's still got a scar from that years later and that was a very worrying hospital trip with her bleeding apparently.I wrapped our wooden coffee table, end tables, and TV center with this stuff. Our daughter managed to bump into it a few times as she started to cruise around, and even adults managed to bang their shins on the coffee table a few times, and this stuff padded those bumps so there was no injury. When its finally time to come off it kind of rips apart if its been on a long time but a little work, and some rubbing alcoholto remove the adhesive and you can't even tell it was ever there. This is really good stuff to have if you have kids and hard furniture in the same house.

Well Well Well. I've purchased this before and it ...
Well Well Well.I've purchased this before and it wasnt here when i needed it :(The soft guard comes with some sort of double sided tape so you can sort of mount it at sharp corners.I've placed a couple near my bed table...I strongly suggest cleaning the surface of the area where to mount before applying it (get the dusts / oil out)Therefore the tape and strongly adhere to the surface.Mine kept falling out- i guess the tape wasn't strong enough..

My days are now safer!
The reason for my purchase:- I have a low coffee table with a glass top that has sharp corners + a wildly energetic puppy = not a safe comboPositives:- The foam material is sufficient padding to protect against unsafe table corners- The sticky material is quite sticky- You get plenty of the sticky material, in case you ever need to reapply- Actually looks pretty sleek on a glass table top- Great value, for the priceNegatives:- Not a thingRecommendation:- If you are in the same boat as me (a sharp-cornered table top + young loved ones), this is an easy buy. It's cheap, it gets the job done, you won't regret buying this. Problem solved.
