To me it is hard to mix because I have arthritis in my hands, also kind of hard to work with it but it works better then many glues I have wasted money on. Needs to come in basic colors would be helpful.

I'd be surprised to find out this was actual name brand mighty-putty. I've used that many times and have found it to be great stuff. I bought this as we're doing some home reno and wanted to keep a bunch on hand for various fixes/repairs/fills. I finally opened it and used about a tube and a quarter to prepare a big fix- a drawer front on new cabinetry that had stripped screw holes. I did as I've done before and mixed it sufficiently, filled the holes, and then for god measure applied some in the corners of the inset for additional hold.I set the drawer down on the drawer front and pressed it to ensure it would hold and set, but 6 hours later, as I carefully picked up the drawer to check it- it was clear the putty hadn't adhered at all!I don't know what the deal is, but this set of putty does not work. I'm hoping to be able to return what's left. What a waste.

I really like mighty putty. I've gone through six tubes in the last couple of years. However, I purchased this and a 3 pack and all were already hard when they arrived. I am disappointed, I liked this stuff. It should have an expiration date.

Puddy works but the outer coating or hardener is very brittle and does not mix well into inner putty. No matter how hard you mix the 2 by hand it comes out as if you have small pieces of egg shells in it. Not good for delicate jobs or where you want surfase nice and smooth. It is possibly past it's experation date!

It smells bad when mixing. Works great.

Great stuff! I note some reviews complain it won't stick to anything. Certainly not the case for me. You do need to knead the material for several minutes. Product gets warm, indicating exothermic (heat-producing) chemical reaction is taking place, which indicates product has been activated and is ready to use. When done, any material remaining on knife or fingers washes of easily with soap and water. Allow 24 hours to set completely.Most recently used it to attach nail to bottom of ceramic mushroom for display in garden. Put in the ground last spring. Despite an unusually wet spring and summer, and that product is in damp soil 24/7, no indication that it's coming loose, much less failing.Note: close examination will show that there are TWO different materials in this product, outer layer and inner core. To get it to work, you must cut off a slice at least 1/4 inch thick, and the slice should contain equal parts outer layer and inner core. Otherwise, when the slice is kneaded with your fingers, the two materials will not be in the correct proportion, and will not set properly.

The putty is too old to use. The outer section has a harden ring that will only break and splinter. Because of this, the 2 parts can’t mix equally and will never fully harden.

Stopped a water crack in my basement wall that other leak fixing products didn't. I used this sealer years ago for another basement wall leak and it has held back the water ever since.Great product.
