Smittybilt 92917 Spice Extended Top

Fit my Jeep perfectly. And looks great, I love the extended back piece to shade the back seat.

The rear straps to hold the top down in the rear corners come with plastic clips. When retightening the top after it warmed up, the clip shattered. Would have been nice if it came with metal clips for added quality especially since it is an outer only use item. Other than those, the quality of the canvas is good and extremely waterproof.

The rear snub attachments are problematic, but after I put the hardtop back on in a week I will get some alternative worked out. I can see why they did it they way they did, but I'm going to make some solid anchors and be done with it. I like the seats front and rear I got from a competitor starting with B, but the Smitty top is clearly the best choice. The spice color works well with the bright orange paint on my YJ, as well ;-)

Almost want to give it three. Instructions aren't worth anything. Straps are confusing. The center section above the front seats seems like it has a little more slack than needed so it catches water and pools up easy.Quality seems good. Been running it for a few weeks

if fit well except windshield channel unlike the bestop I tried earlier which did not have enough material to hold the top, this one fit too loosely and had to instal screws through the top into the windshield channel to hold it down.
