GM Genuine Parts 24203876 Automatic Transmission Input and Output Speed Sensor with Seal, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

My E3500 with 4EL80 trans was hard shifting. OBD scan indicated Input Shaft sensor fault. Replaced with this sensor, reset the ECM (easy to do, videos online, no tools needed). No shifting problem now. Running stable for a while now.

Direct fit for both the input and output sensor locations. I had a code relating to the output sensor and decided to replace both the input and output. Sensors and brackets fit with no issue, both into the transmission and the wiring harness. I have about 1000 miles on the repair with no issues and no more codes. 2000 C2500 Classic with a RWD 4L80E automatic.

I bought this sensor because I thought that mine was bad and affecting my transmission. Turns out it was actually a bad transmission. Sensor was good but I didn't actually need it.

My 4L80E was shifting sometimes a little weird and my speedometer had an intermediate problems displaying the correct Speed, figured that one of the both speed sensors may have and issue.Tried the output shaft sensor first, - replaced it. Shifts normal again and I see valid speed.I think both sensors on the 4L80E are the same in a year 2000 Chevy Express 5.7.

These went into a newly rebuilt 4L80E from a 1993 C3500 6.5 TD. No issues.
