Really nice system But tragic demise
March 2017: contacted [email protected] for warranty service. The person looked over my Amazon invoice and pictures of my broken parts then said I bought a "knockoff" from my seller. I emailed the seller to ask if it was a knockoff on March 22, 2017. Still have 3 days before my order anniversary, 6 before date I received it from ups. 2016:March 2017: The bucket innards came apart! Over the past eleven months it didn't get much of a workout, maybe twelve times not more than twenty. I have emailed the support folks and hope to hear back soon. Purchased Mar 25 2016, broken spinner basket March 15 2017. See photos of damage.....March 30 2016 finally get to try it out! I read the directions several times and tried it out dry. It spun out nicely. I poured in one gallon of hot water and 1/4 cup of my cleaner...just enough to wet the mop. Then I set it to spin and dropped the mop into the deeper level, spun it out some then set to mopping. It works better than any other mop style I have tried in my 60 years of floor cleaning. This unit also has a scrub brush head and I gave it a workout on my bathroom ceramic tile and grubby grout. Very impressed with its cleaning ability. Next I mopped up the dirty puddles with the mop head and cleaning solution, then a quick rinse with plain water and a semi-dry mop. Gotta tell ya, I am impressed. When the mop head is rinsed out and spun dry it still looks like new! The mop head does not scrape the floor when I use it. There is a spin action going on when I clean along a straight surface...the mop head spins a bit and offers fresh cleaning strands. Really clever. The bucket is large enough for bigger jobs. A handy plug can be removed to drain the water and let's me rinse out the bucket easily in my shower. I am still new to this so I have to remember how to unlock the handle before initiating the spin cycle. Also I keep the instructions handy to refresh my memory. I think the MopDash is what I've been looking for all along. I will update this review after a few new uses.

the best mop ever
OMG, the best mop ever!!! I was cautioned not to buy the one that has the foot peddle on the bucket because they break easily. So, I searched high and low, and found the MopDash. It's amazing and 1/2 the price of Mopnado. The only complaint I have is that there are no instructions in the box. A video link on the Amazon site would be great. How it work:With the handle in the straight position and mop head attached, center the mop in the bucket and push down on the handle, the slotted basket and mop head is submerged in the water. Give a few push spins the saturate the mop. Next, pull up on the handle and the slotted basket catches, now push the handle several time to spin the water out. Pull up one more time to release the mop from the bucket. Now you have to step on the mop head and swivel the handle 90 degrees to mop the floor. When you are ready to rinse, step on the mop head again and swivel the handle back upright so you can put it back into the bucket to rinse and spin. Good thing my cleaning lady knew how it worked so she could show me.

Germophobe Is Satisfied
As a serious germophobe, I've spent the last 2 decades testing out cleaning supplies.I have a large collection of mops but I think I will give them all away to charity soon. I found my answer!!I fill the bucket with a 20:80 ratio of Hoover Multi Floor-Plus cleaner and water.I like to re-rinse and squeeze many times during a floor washing session so this does the job for me almost effortlessly.I think I may finally be able to give up the "hands-and-knees" scrubbing process. This scrub brush works wonders! Its very flexible, letting the mop lay nearly flat, so I can get to all the dust that settles under the beds and TV stands.I also like that the mop cloth is washable, so I can dump it in the washer for a quick cycle as soon as I'm done.I got the plastic one because it just seems easier to wash. When I was done I stuck the bucket into my bath tub with the spout opened and I let the water run through it for 5 - 6 minutes. I just walked away and came back to a clean bucket. I usually spend 10 back-breaking minutes rinsing it out.I don't fancy disconnecting it on a daily basis, but it seems like a great way to pack it up when I take it with me. (Yes, I do take cleaning supplies with me on trips)Thanks for a great mop.

it sounded great from most reviews
So sorry I bought this, it sounded great from most reviews. First, NO directions...only what others have posted here to view or read. When all works well, then I like this spin mop/pail....that's IF & WHEN all works properly. I had several issues, one being I wasn't aware that the little white rubber thingy that looked like it snapped onto the handle maybe to hang up the mop? nope...I found out rather quickly that it was a plug for the pail! Located on the bottom side of the pail, I didn't notice until I began filling it with water...needless to say it was a mess.It takes some getting use to how it goes from the lower level wash spin to the upper level dry (the mop) spin! Then the rim that snaps into place around the bucket popped off a few times, and of course all won't work as it should when that happens. There's just too many issues to deal with...I spent more time figuring out what to do or re-snapping this or that back into place than I did mopping the floors. I use to have a pail where you just manually twisted the mop in the collander like insert to wring it out and that worked just fine...I will look for another of those. I give this mopdash gizmo a thumbs down.

It's definitely worth every penny!
I LOVE this mop set. I had another spin mop that quit, but once I got that mop I was SOLD on it. Needed one to replace it and found this one. This one is different in that EVERY TIME you put the mop in the spinner you get it "engaged", which was a hit-or-miss thing with the previous one. The only problem I am having with this one is the mop itself is thicker than the previous one, and I can't get it as dry. No worries, I just keep trying and eventually/maybe I will get it as dry as needed. All in all, it is a GREAT system and I won't go back to the hand-wringing out phase ever again!
