Handy and so many features
I am a single middle aged woman looking for something I can carry in the car and use around the house when trying to do projects on my own. This is just as described. I love all the amazing features including the emergency flashing lights. The tripod is easy to use and so handy. Great light when the power goes out.

This multi-purpose light is excellent as a desk or room lamp!
Actually, I tried this because it is made by the same company that makes the Softech desk lamp.The body is made of aluminum, not plastic. It is very sturdy and strong.Pull out the plastic "lens" ... one "notch" for clear, two "notches" for red. Controls let you have steady light or flashing.Legs look like aluminum, not plastic. Very sturdy.Looks like a light saber. Lights up my home office. So, it could be used for work or for a party with the flashing red/white light.I leave it out all the time on my desk. Will probably get one for the car and, it's not expensive, they will make great gifts.Made in South Korea, not China.

It's all in the details
This is a well-made, sturdy product that has heft to it owing to its aluminum body. I haven't seen this level of fit and finish in a like-device costing 3X as much. The battery compartment is fitted so that you can load three AA's without the usual rattle associated with cheaply made flashlights. The manufacturers claim that it will run for 24+ hours is conservative; mine stayed illuminated for over a week before the supplied-batteries discharged.Attractively packaged with a nicely made carrying pouch, this is a device that you need in your car, home, or on a camping trip.

Multipurpose works as described
A well thought out design and easy to use. Probably the best light to have in your vehicle for emergencies. Use it as you would any good flashlight and if you need to signal for help or mark a breakdown, the flashing red light is just what you need. The tripod legs are individually adjustable to allow for standing it on an uneven surface. Also makes a good camping light or backyard patio light.
